What can I say about a truly phenomenal experience that is immeasurable and indescribably good. Every encounter has been thoughtful, caring, phenomenal and I must name many of those who offered this. From the check in with Hercules, to Jim, Jacqueline, Mandy in the club lounge. And the extraordinary Carina the concierge who went above and beyond, Tabia the concierge who spent an inordinate amount of time with us directing us to places. And all the doormen and bellmen and so many I am forgetting. I have stayed at many Ritz Carlton’s around the world and this experience was second to none. I am almost embarrassed by the level of service afforded Patrick and I and most of it was not even requested, they just extended a helping hand. I truly hope I have another opportunity to visit Berlin simply because of the service at this hotel. From a very grateful couple, we thank you immensely. Denise

From the moment you step in you feel that you are in safe hands. Smiley faces, courteous employees everywhere, pleasant atmosphere and more importantly you feel welcome. A great hotel in superb location and excellent service. The General Manager Torsten is a true gentleman who knows how to run the business.

Convenient location to Brandenburg Tor and Reichtstag and many more landmarks. Near a U-Bahn and S-Bahn station. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially in restaurants. The only disadvantage, not just in the hotel, is that most restaurants are closed on Sundays. We went to celebrate our anniversary and it happened to fall on a Sunday.

Excellent hotel in a nice part of Berlin. Hotel is really modern and very lux. Staff all excellent and very polished. Turn down service each night was reliable and done very well. Only negatives are that the set breakfast is weirdly overpriced (even for a RC), as if they don’t want anyone to get it, and that there is essentially no English TV channels.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for what was a wonderful long weekend. We stayed on the 10th floor with access to the Club lounge. The beds, the bathrooms and the breakfasts are the best I've ever come across in a hotel. But the real standouts here are the hotel staff themselves. From Evangelis in the bar, taking the time to come over to us and explain how to neutralise the taste of egg foam in a cocktail (and providing a sample, after we asked him what he was doing!); to Tabea on the concierge desk sourcing the perfect restaurant on a tricky Sunday evening; to the wonderful front door staff, who ran to open taxi doors and cover us with umbrellas. A special mention must go to Mandeep (Mandy) in the Club Lounge, a lovely young lady with such a bright future in hospitality. Mandy made us feel so welcome, always had an amazing smile; couldn't do enough to attend to us and was kind enough to chat and share her story with us. Last and by no means least...What can I say about the fantastic young Julian Mertens, who looked after us so well in the Club Lounge? A true asset to The Ritz-Carlton, Julian's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were simply the highlight of our entire trip. I had only mentioned in passing to Julian that I trouble finding a particular type Berlin bear souvenir for our trip; one that I had picked up whilst in Berlin some years previously...We were left totally speechless when, arriving back at our room one evening, we found a handwritten card from Julian, the bear(!) and my girlfriend's favourite bottle of wine - a gift from The Ritz-Carlton. I will never forget this act of kindness. Just a magical experience, courtesy of Julian and the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Berlin. It's simply the best!

We are the highest level of Marriott reward members. We were aware that they wouldn't honor status, and that means ZERO recognition of status...ZERO. Could have dealt with that but the attendent came to clean the room while we were still there, and I asked them to come back 30 minutes later as we would be gone for the day. They never came back, so at the end of the day when we returned, our in room coffee cups were still there, wet towels, unmade bed. Come on this is the RITZ?? And to really top it off the next morning when we took showers we noticed mold on the ceiling, not just a little but several dark patches. We requested that be dealt with or we be moved. They did elect to clean it while we were out, but when we got back to the room the cleaner smell was toxic and overwhelming. Anywhere else you might just shrug your shoulders, but this was a very expensive Ritz property. We will not stay at another. At the start of this trip we stayed at the Westin Berlin, which was absolutely fabulous, service and rooms.

This was our second stay at the Ritz Carlton Berlin having stayed here in August 2022 and we weren’t disappointed at any stage of our stay. We were checked in by Elias and shown to our room. Elias was truly professional and personable, as was Anthony who helped with our luggage. We had a Deluxe Junior suite which was fairly spacious, this had a large lounge area adjoined to the bedroom, a small walk in closet and decent sized bathroom. When I used the coffee machine the first time it appeared to be broken so I called the front desk for assistance, an engineer was sent almost immediately and it wasn’t broken it was probably just my inexperience of using this machine. As a suggestion the instructions for use could be made clearer to avoid unnecessary calls for assistance. Before arriving we tried to book dinner at Potts but it appeared fully booked, on arrival however we learnt that Potts is undergoing refurbishment and will be completed towards the end of January, so it will be a treat for anyone visiting after I’m sure. As a result of the refurbishment we had breakfast in the Grand Ballroom on the first floor, this was partitioned off so not the entire room and was amazing. We greeted by Rita who we met on our last visit, which was nice. We went to see the pool and spa area but didn’t use it as the pool is fairly small and we were still warming up from our days exploration of Berlin, which was freezing that day. When thinking about the all important question of whether we would recommend this hotel the answer is certainly yes. Our next Ritz Carlton stay will be Dubai in June but before then we have stays each month in Lisbon, Athens, Madeira, and Istanbul with more destinations coming after June - follow me for more information.

It was the best choice in Berlin. Hotel provides the expected luxurious experience with standout service. The concierge service (I think it was Thomas), in particular, surpasses expectations, offering personalized recommendations and assistance that elevate the overall stay.

Stayed at the hotel for a long weekend with my son in December 23 for sightseeing / Xmas markets. Although we got a taxi from the airport the hotel is directly opposite Postdamer Platz metro station if needed. The hotel location is close (10 min walk) to both the gate and the Checkpoint Charlie so was an ideal choice for us to explore. The hotel is also very close (less than 5min) to several shopping malls and for us opposite the Postdamer Platz xmas market. The hotel itself was an assuming from the outside but perfect from the inside. We were welcomed very well by the doormen and had a great experience at the check in. The rooms were very clean and spacious (we had a twin room) with a large wardrobe and bathroom with separate WC and shower in addition to two sinks and a bath. Room came with bottled water daily and Nespresso machine. We visited the gym and spa daily. The gym is well equipped and stocked with additional water and fruit/cereal bars. There are a range of cardio (runners, rowers, bikes etc) and free and machine weights (well equipped). The sauna was out of action when we were there, but we used the steam room - FYI these are mixed and generally people are naked in them (although we were not). The pool is small but ok for a dip, but you certainly couldn't exercise / do lengths in it. There are also changing rooms, lockers and showers which was great. The curtain club bar is great, although gets busy at the weekends and the breakfast is expansive and the service excellent so well worth the money, literally had anything you could imagine available for breakfast - cooked, cereals, pastries and a chef who could make up fresh pancakes, omelettes, waffles etc which my son enjoyed !
