I was traveling with 4 girlfriends and we were treated like royalty at the Ritz. They went above and beyond in service (especially Lukas at the front desk). The hotel is in an excellent location for all the many wonderful sites of Berlin. The breakfasts were amazing, the rooms very well appointed, and the lobby bar was fun. The concierge also was very helpful in making dinner reservations and getting us tickets to the Berlin Philharmonic. I would go back to both Berlin and the Ritz Carlton in a heartbeat.

We had a short stay at the hotel recently. It was excellent and very relaxing. Terry the doorman was outstanding, he made us laugh and gave us fantastic tips on where to go in the city. Overall a great experience.

Is it possible to have a bad Ritz Carlton experience? Very accommodating staff, above-and-beyond service from the concierge desk, excellent morning buffet. They make you not want to go home! Rooms are nicely sized. Took a while for our feeble American minds to figure out the shower, but we did and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Great location…walking distance to all of the important sites, restaurants, a large shopping mall-and across the road from a metro station. Extremely comfortable beds. Very friendly doormen and helpful staff. Very nice main floor lounge for drinks and snacks (delicious cheeseburgers). Well appointed fitness room although we didn’t use it.

We were profiled by our Color. We were given a different class of treatment. The restaurant manager is rude. No courtesy at all. We were kept waiting for our dinner for more than 30 mins, while the entire restaurant was getting their food. Even the rooms services order were given priority.

Dear 686sagard, It was a great pleasure speaking to yesterday on the phone. Your experience in the restaurant comes as a surprise to us. We have a multi-national team in POTS, which works well together as a team and if our restaurant manager came across rude, then we do sincerely apologize for this, he surely did not mean to. He received to date only very positive feedback from our guest, which come from all nations of this globe. Besides he works closely with the kitchen team, which is also a multi-cultural team. If your order did not receive the same sense of urgency as others then our culinary team apologizes for this, as we serve three menus out of one kitchen it came to a delay of a few orders, one of them was yours. Once again our sincerest apologize. Kind regards, Torsten Richter General Manager

Stayed for a week, was ok. A bit outadated (bathroom), in general mixture between classic wooden design and more contemporary touch. In general it’s a 5star, however I have expected more. Not sure what exactly, but something seems to be missing. Staff was friendly and very helpful - no probs with that. Hotel seemed clean(except for some areas in the room - dusty) and new(again, bathroom deserved renovation), which is also a good sign. 18.00 ritz tradition was observed. Breakfast - good buffet and good a-la-carte options. When we ordered Onsen egg (with type of poaching, with red (probably salmon)) it was served with a mixture of artificial and natural caviars. I don’t know whether it was done on purpose in hope that no one notices, or its a person responsible for supplies doesn’t check what’s being bought - I don’t know, but it really turned me down. That might have greatly influenced my decision to rate hotel with 4 stars Overall the hotel is good, might be considered as an option to stay

Nice place to stop for a civilised lunch in the middle of a busy sightseeing day. We had currywurst and chips which was very good. Not the obvious place to go for that but nice to stop and have an hour of calm while sightseeing. Service great.

If you are anything like me, I find picking the right hotel a crucial part of my holiday planning. Your aim is to be comfortable in a new city, whether you are just pit stopping or spending your whole days within the hotel walls. From start to finish The Ladies and Gentleman of the Ritz-Carlton made this trip memorable and special for me. It was a 5 star experience through and through. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a bellboy who took our luggage outside the hotel. As it was my birthday, to my surprise, the hotel offered a complimentary Ritz-Carlton Mercedes car to drop me to our dinner reservations across town. Once we had arrived back to the hotel, we were greeted yet again with another kind gesture of champagne, a dessert and card to wish us a great stay. It was incredibly kind and their attention to detail was phenomenal. Whenever we needed help or advise, we had numerous people at hand to help and who wanted to genuinely make sure we were having a great time. THE ROOM: As someone who suffers with OCD, a clean room is parietal to me and my trips. It's why I spend more on staying in 5 star hotels to avoid any disappointments. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff cleaned twice a day as well as leaving little touches in the room like notes or chocolate or things that were quintessential to the Berlin experience. They showed they cared and even though we didn't meet any of the cleaning staff members they too made it clear they wanted us to have a wonderful stay. I would 100% stay again - it will be the only hotel I stay in, in Berlin. It truly is the best hotel in Berlin and I can't thank the Ladies and Gentlemen enough for such a wonderful stay. My favourite, hotel by far in Berlin and I have stayed at a few!

The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin located near Potsdamer Platz, is a superb hotel that delivers from beginning to end. I had the chance to stay for one night and wish I could have stayed the entire 14 days I spent in Germany. Before my reservation, Nicole was able to assist me with specific requests and provided great information about amenities and restaurants inside the hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Joaquin at the front desk. He went above and beyond to ensure I got all the information I needed during my stay. I stayed in a corner room and felt highly content with the 450 sq. ft., comfortable bed + pillows, and spacious bathroom. Christopher F. added to the special touches by providing a welcome amenity and friendly welcome to the hotel. During my stay, I went to The Lounge to experience afternoon tea. Ashley, Tetiana, and Oliver were excellent and attentive to my needs. Oliver recommended coming back for oysters from 04:00 - 06:00 pm and being a little before 06:00 pm for the Defining Moment. I heard of this experience in other reviews, and I think it is a neat touch the hotel does before transitioning to the nighttime options in the hotel. In addition, I went to dinner at Pots. I loved Georgia's customer service right from the start, and Christine always checked on me as needed. The gourmet six-course German menu is quite exciting and tasty. I could pair it with classic wines and felt it was worth it. The only neutral feedback I have for Pots is for the sommelier to be more attentive to guests and less wine-tasting on his own. At one point, other coworkers had to take over for him. As the night ended, I had the chance to visit the Curtain Club. It is a great atmosphere and a wide variety of different cocktails. You must get there by 09:00 pm, especially on weekends, since it can get crowded, but it is worth it. I could secure a table, and the experience was worth it. Evangelos and Markus were super quick to take orders and make recommendations. As I checked out of the hotel, I had the chance to meet Rita in the Pots restaurant for breakfast. I appreciated her demeanor and willingness to help. She was genuinely courteous and made my day. I hope when I return, I can visit Rishi and get a chance to enjoy their pool area and spa services. All these people truly make this place worth visiting and experiencing. Special thanks to Nicole, Joaquin, Torsten, and the rest of the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Ritz-Carlton, Berlin, for this great experience.

While checking out from the hotel on 18.01.2023, I noticed that an extra was added to our bill. When we wanted to talk to the duty manager or department manager regarding the issue, we talked to a person who did not even share his name with us. Although I persistently asked his name, he didn't even have the courtesy to tell me his name. I guess this is the value you give to the guest. While checking the ticket of charge together, we encountered an unprofessional approach. The ticket and the signature on it do not belong to me. When I told them, they tried to make me believe that the signature was mine(and they did it by making fun of me). The fact that the misfortune was spoken at the reception and in front of people is a different matter. Your manager should have invited me to a quiet place to discuss the matter. When we look at the time when the ticket was closed, I was already outside the hotel. I do not want to teach them business, but for the solution of this issue, first of all; If you have an amount to charge to the room, before closing this amount to the room; you should check the room number, name and surname. You did not do a surname check. Your staff charged my account for a different room. There are mistakes that are unworthy of a 5-star hotel operation. Your friend, whose name and title I do not know, did not even contact your staff who opened and closed the ticket while trying to solve the issue. A SIGNIFICANT ISSUE, HE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO ME. The bellboy who accompanied us both apologized for this misfortune and offered water. Bellboy handled the crisis better than your manager. At the time the ticket was closed, no camera control was carried out to determine who the account belonged to. Your manager will probably make your staff who made the mistake pay this charge. You failed to prove that I was not the signatory. If you could prove it to your fellow workers, what is my belief, that Muslims do not drink alcohol? I wouldn't have to tell it in front of other people. I shared my personal information with someone whose name I do not know and who I even suspect is an administrator. My company, of which I am an investor, in Marriott hotels belonging to your group, It spends around 700-800 nights a month. Due to my satisfaction and comfort, I make my employees stay in your hotels. But my experience at your The Ritz-Carlton Berlin hotel, disappointed me. In the presence of both my employees and your guests, I felt like a customer, not a guest. First of all, the official who came to me about the subject I don't even know his title because he didn't introduce himself and even though I asked his name, he passed me by. I don't believe I've spoken to someone in authority. really authoritative a person needs to manage the moment of crisis in hotel management. At worst, what time I left the room could be controlled from the cameras. It was clear again that Chage did not belong to me. This bad experience made me see what a person I don't know is both his signature and what he ate and drank. I have questions about who you can share my information with at your hotel. You have violated personal data protection law regarding this issue. Both for me and for another customer. At the same time, you could not manage the moment of crisis in your hotel. Worst of all, you made me feel like a liar in public. I expect an answer from your general manager within 48 hours, within the scope of your standards, in order to compensate for these mistakes made based on the trust your brand has established in me. I have a new reservation at your hotel in March 2023. I will evaluate this reservation based on your reply.
