Spent a long weekend here and it was outstanding in every way, gorgeous room with everything you need, it was beautiful. The staff were first class and very friendly. Close to public transport and couldn't be placed anywhere better for shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lively but low key bar scene -- some nights they have live music Room are spacious and well appointed -- Gym is on the small size and does not have very good equipment -- Excellent staff that knows where everything is -- The eternal debate is which neighborhood to stay in -- I found the Ritz to be perfect as... Great staff and Club Level experience, the staff were personable and very helpful with amenities and planning dinners and drinks in the city. However had to deal with a loud toilet that would not stop running 3 separate times. Quite frustrating.

Conveniently located off the city centre, approximately 15 minutes from the airport, it was a delight. Right from the "dude" at the doorway to the gent making the omelette for your morning breakfast, all were supremely attentive and caring. The Brasserie Desbrosses, is excellent, with great cheer and humor from their staff ! In my opinion the style of the... More

I should have read the comments before making assumptions. I am a Platinum member with Marriott and I do stay often at the Ritz. My check in experience was fine as he told me that my room wasnt ready but he was going to get me any room. As I arrived at my room, I noticed their lack of attention... More

6-days stay in Ritz-Carlton Berlin. Front desk staff, doormen, breakfast personnel, cleaning staff ... all were great, clearly very well trained. Breakfast, for my taste, was divine. Rooms were spacious and being the smoker I am I was pleased to find this hotel having rooms for smokers. Bathroom amenities were minimal. There's obviously the possibility to request extra (toothbrush set,... More

We've stayed at this Ritz Carlton property a number of times during the past 10 years, and it is still as good as our first visit. The standard of Service is excellent - especially at the entrance and reception desks. This time we stayed in a Junior Suite on the 11th Floor (1104). Great views of the Sony Centre and... More

I am so unhappy with this time living here. Because of the full occupancy of Waldolf Berlin ,i chose Ritz-Calton. The most unhappy experience is when i call to guest service to ask is there welcome fruit for me,she checked and said yes.I asked is it rechargeable or free. She said it is free for me as a platinum member. Great location, friendly staff, large room, bathroom etc - all you can expect from such hotel. The spa area is beautiful, smallish, not busy. Though gym is a bit small and selection of tools could be bigger, ie not the best hotel gym i have seen. I had to ask for an ironing board to be delivered, there wasn't one... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
