I can say that the 2 nights I have spent in this hotel has been very pleasant. I arrived at the hotel at around 5 in the morning (I was on a bus trip the night before) and despite the check in time being 9 hrs later at 2pm, the lady at the reception very kindly gave me a room...

The hotel has good location and the room is clean but they said in the net that there is bidet in the bathroom and you will dicoverd that you will not find in all rooms, also there is no A.C and not only this but the staff tried to convince me that there is no need for it in Berlin...

The hotel is situated in the same building of other apartments, so it was a bit difficult to find at the beginning. But once I've checked in I was surprise how big was the room, with a queen bed, two bigs Windows and a big bathroom! Quite good breakfast. The hotel is really near the underground!

I stayed here with my family for 4 nights. There were 7 or us so we took 3 rooms. Upon arrival the hotel is in an apartment block on floors 5 and 6 , the entrance is a little bit run down and dark but once you have taken the lift to floor 6 (reception) then everything is different. The...

We stayed at Hotel Kaiser for a weekend with good friends. The hotel is lying at the 5. and 6. floor in a building and the rooms are really big and clean. The breakfast is fine, but we were missing eggs and bacon, then it would be perfect for us. The distance to Alexanderplatz is long, but we bought a...

I spent four nights in this hotel. The reason why I took this hotel is very good location to the Deutsche Oper. This time I went to Berlin mostly to see some operas. And I was pleasantly suprised over the quality that I got for this price. I paid for 4 nights Eur 230 incl. breakfest. This is realy low...

Great value for money. The hotel is located on a main road which our room fronted onto, however we couldn't hear any traffic noise. The hotel itself is located on the 5th/6th floor of the building and we were a little concerned with what the hotel would be like, as it looked very old fashioned as we entered the building...

I stayed at this hotel with my family for 5 nights and it was really good. Located really close to an U-Bahn station in the beautiful Charlottenburg right next to the lake it was a really nice area with lots of small shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was really good and the staff was nice. The...

We spent two nights at this hotel having stayed last year as well. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and hotel is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is continental and very good. This is the equivalent to a Travel Lodge in the UK. Ideally located for the underground and City attractions. Would stay again.

We got a double room at this hotel for 70 euros a night, which made it very good value for money. The hotel does not excel, the floors are noisy, the hallways look a little bit dreary and the staff is not really welcoming, but the room was nice, big enough and clean. The breakfast was acceptable, could be better,...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
