Nice room, refreshed and well located in gay area of Berlin, close to Wittenbergplatz and KaDeWe :) But very bad internet connection (free) 0.29Mbps is not useful and reception desk cannot help. Paying internet connection with Telekom (router in hotel) works well. Sad.

This hotel is located in Fuggerstr a 5 minute walk from Wittenberg Platz U bahn. The receptionists at all times were very helpful and polite, making you feel welcome. The room was large and very clean and tidy, my one criticism was that there were no hot drink making facilities in the room. The food at breakfast was a selection...

The hotel was okay, seemed tidy and clean. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the minimalistic style in the room, however for me it lacked the light as there was only lights on bed sides and on the table. So it was pretty dim, if you need to work later in the evenin this light might make you...

I stayed early Sept 2016 - for business. This was my second time at the hotel. The reason I chose it was because of the location - lots of bars and restaurants nearby, close to 2 stations and a short walk to Ku-damm. The rooms have been renovated, since the main pic. I'll try to attach one of the rooms...

First of all, location is very good, the underground is five minutes by walk, and you have three lines so it's very easy to visit different places in Berlin. It's the gay area of Berlin but ambience is nice, you have bars and restaurants around so you can drink or eat near the hotel. Even if it's the gay area,...

I stayed at the Artim hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located, in walking distance to Tiergarden, shops, Schoneberg is great for small restaurants, bars and cafes. The hotel itself is of good standard. Nice comfortable rooms, good enough breakfast, no air conditioner tho so it might get warm and stuffy. Fairly good hotel.

We ended up selecting Hotel Artim after problems with our previous booking. The picture on this website do not do it justice - our room was large and at the back of the hotel away from the main street so was quiet and peaceful. The ensuite was generous and shower pressure good. Hotel staff were friendly and polite and they...

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
