We stay regularly at this hotel, they provide a number of room sizes but as far as I know they all provide a little kitchenette area which is great. The larger rooms are very spacious and are kept clean and tidy. There are plenty of food stores nearby, a Lidl literally under the hotel. The kitchenette is great if you like to have home made breakfast before heading out for the day. This is an apartment hotel so there is no bar/Resturant and the reception area is not staffed 24hr, but they are there daily I think until 7pm. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and speak English which is great. There is one lift which is small (2 people) but works fine. The hotel is literally outside an underground station which has two lines (U2 & U7) so it’s very easy to get around. The U2 will take you to Zoo, Kudam, Potsdamer Platz and Mitte so great if your not too familiar with Berlin. There are plenty of Resturant’s, bars and shops nearby. A lovely store where you can buy great food but also grab a bite is Rogacki (Anthony Bourdain covered it on one of his shows) stroll to the rear of the store and there’s a standing area where they’ll cook your fish before you. Charlottenburg Palace is nearby with some nice museums which are worth a visit. The street running from Bismark Street and Wilmerdorfer Street is a shopping area with plenty of department stores etc. Not top end stuff, but if your looking for an excellent location, reasonably priced, clean, good quality, convenient accommodation in Berlin 👌…
Goodman's is a pretty decent hotel with good room facilities, in well maintained condition and in a very handy location to the U2 line and the city centre. Our room was sort of a mini- studio with small seating area separated by a room divider/TV stand (reversible tv screen watch from bed or seating area), small kitchen and dining area. We also had access to a rear terrace but didn't see much use. The staff we spoke with on morning and afternoon shifts were all very nice and friendly. Hotel is is a pretty good location to supermarkets/bakeries/restaurants and shopping along Wilmersdorferstrasse. U2 is less than 5 mins walk. Overall enjoyed the stay, if not so taken by the actual street area of Wilmerdorferstrasse. Hotel needs to swap out the oversized giant single chair for a genuine 2 seat sofa option - just not suitable for two persons and no other chair available.…
I would have given this apartment a 5 star. But two subsequent things occurred which suggest a zero - The reception was giving me a bit of Berlin Schnarzer, when I requested to leave some luggage. Contained within the luggage under multiple layers of clothing was a uranium glass vase, probably 100 years old - they broke it! What took humanity took 1000s of years to discover, some one to make a 100 years ago and someone to care for, for a hundred years - they broke in a split second of bad ass attitude - They cancelled a future booking - Suggest some customer service upskiling is required
Stayed for a week as a single traveler on a mix of business/pleasure. This was an excellent choice all around. Well designed space with sleeping, eating, kitchen and sitting areas. Good internet and good sound isolation for working on Zoom at odd hours. Great location in the middle of Wilmersdorfer Strasse commercial area with multiple restaurants and supermarkets as well as a ubahn stop adjacent. Roughly 20 minutes on ubahn to central berlin (Potsdamer Platz, Friederichstrasse etc.). Towels refreshed daily; Cleaning once a week.
Goodman's Living is the perfect location for shopping, chilling, eating and general transportation to all sightseeing within Berlin! Staying here is like the home away from home and the staff is very nice!
Nice, cleaned and quiet room. Bed and pillow were fresh, comfortable and cleaned. The hotel is located just next to the U2/U7 U-Bahn station. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen, fridge which is very useful. Very good, fast complementary Wi-Fi. Only discomfort was walking several flight of stairs due to a temporary lift breakdown.
It would have been perfect if not for the fact that I was given a smoker room which was so heavy with the smell of smoke that it made me nauseated. They said they can never promise to give a non smoker room even if requested- they do their best but can’t promise. They said they were fully booked so couldn’t change the room. I couldn’t get the smell out even after3 days of leaving the window open (in cold February). My colleague had a non smoker room and so for her it was perfect. If you are sensitive to smoke, take this into consideration.
We were arriving at 20 oclock but it was easy to tap a code and get the key. We Got in and Foundation our Rom on the 2 floor - We Will for sure come back - lovely decor and a Beatifull quiet place. See you again
Cleaned and very silent room. The bed and pillow were comfortable and cleaned. The hotel is located just right the U2/U7 U-Bahn station. The rooms are equipped with a smal kitchen which is very useful.
Well the place is right across the best FISH and DELICATESS joint "Rogacki" and that is a PLUS. Otherwise, no sauna, no Hamam, and if you compare the rest to the famous (former) "Kempi", the rooms are smaller, the pricing very similar, the pool is missing and so are the other GrandHotel attributes. Who like more privacy and some small kitchen could be very well served, while the location is a pretty long walk to Adenauerplatz, however on a pedestrian street "Wilmersdorfer", which has its Charme. Facit: No Knack, no BANG, no Wow.
