The staff is very efficient and provided us with great customer service. I initially found that the bed looked very sparse but it was surprisingly comfortable and we experienced an exceptional nights sleep. The breakfast options were quite expensive and when we received the meal it was very impressive but way too copious. One breakfast could have served at least...

I always go there twice a year on my scheduled Berlin Business trip. this hotel is really perfect for the business traveller, location, great service, nice executive lounge and great staff. The food is of very good quality and there is continuity there among the staff, you see the same staff members around and they recognize you only when you...

Staff and breakfast ( included) excellent. Great location and all transportation. High corner room-large, but small bath. Street noise evident, room could use better maid service and a good case of referbish. Inside (court) rooms much quieter.

Very centrally located, all the shops are on your doorstep and the u-bahn is a stroll away. We booked a classic room originally which we thought was tiny so we upgraded to a junior suite at a negotiated 60euros per night. I would suggest an Insider famous walking tour, its for about 4 hours and very informative. You can pick...

Me and my friend stayed at the hotel for five days (from the18/05 until the 23/05) Excellent hotel. Very very good located. The staff are really friendly, helpful and gives a good feeling from the moment you enter the hotel. We stayed at the most simple room which was large, clean, with clean bath, WC and a shower. Rooms are...

I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times before and the experience has always been good. I stayed in a classic room this time which was a bit on the small side (especially shower) but ok for the price. My room had a view of the Ku'dam and it was very quiet. Service throughout my stay was excellent but...

This is a very light and airy hotel, with lots of natural light and wood in all the public areas. We booked a double room and was advised by the reception staff that the bed was only a queen size and they recommend we switch to a twin. We did this and was given a room facing the courtyard on...

I think other reviews have covered everything there is to say about the location and the wonderful staff they employ. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable for short stays. The only negative for me was the pillows which were really flimsy, I struggled to get comfortable in the end had to use the spare duvet as a pillow. Overall...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
