I spent 4 weeks there. Located in the heart of Mitte, just next to Potsdamer Platz. I had a huge room with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The room is well-equipped and has almost everything you need to live and work (including the kitchen). The hotel offers gym and SPA which I used frequently 😊 Staff is helpful and extremely friendly and they cause that you fell good there. This is pet-friendly hotel which is a big plus (I’ve seen a lot of dogs and cats there) but despite you pay extra 30 EUR per day for your pet you still need to pay if your cat accidentally pukes on the carpet (150 EUR) In general I recommend this hotel because it is great but this cleaning fee was very unpleasant surprise.

We spent 4 days at this hotel but cannot think of a single criticism. On arrival the reception was friendly and helpful. Our room ( a management suite ) was well designed extremely quiet and very comfortable. The hot water was immediately hot and the cold water extremely cold. The beds were comfortable and the tv worked well. So what’s not to like ? Downstairs the dining room was pretty impressive with a service to match. The breakfast was comprehensive and as good as any I have experienced. So there it is. A very good hotel where attention to detail is a clear priority.

Reception was not a big 'showy' area like some 5 star hotels but all the staff were efficient and very friendly. We had a Management Room which was large with minimal furniture but had plenty of hanging space and shelves and also separate area for our luggage, etc. Separate lounge - has TV, 2 seater sofa, coffee table. The king bed was very comfortable. Good size bathroom with toilet, shower over bathtub, could be an issue for some people as quite deep. Area with bar fridge, kettle, tea and coffee and milk capsules, a sink & tap. Restaurant - me.als good ( a bit peppery for us ) and a limited menu so only ate there once even though the service was excellent. Breakfast was in the fine dining restaurant - buffet style with quality meats and cheeses, cut fruit, juices, rolls, bread & a few pastries. Coffee/ tea to order. The only slightly off putting issue from our point of view was the a la carte eggs order from a QR code? We used the gym which had enough equipment. We found the position of the hotel worked for us as able to go to a nearby large shopping mall and in walking distance of plenty of the major sites to see in Berlin.…

The Mandala Hotel is wonderfully located by Potsdamer Platz. There is also a shopping center nearby with shops, groceries and food options. When you walk in the front door, you're not exactly in a lobby but the front desk is immediately to your right. You can check in there and take the elevator up to your room. Breakfast begins at 7.00am and takes place at the restaurant on the 5th floor. The cold items are served buffet style and you can order coffee and an omelet from the attentive staff. There is a QR code at the table where you can see what hot items, in addition to the omelet, you can order. I only went to breakfast the second of my two mornings at the hotel and I didn't think much of it because I was informed that my reservation included breakfast. After I checked out, my bill showed the room and breakfast broken out as separate items. The bill included breakfast on the day that I didn't go. I mention this in case you do the same and want to see if you still have to pay for it. The room on the 8th floor was spacious and included a small kitchenette. I appreciate that the tea was refilled throughout my stay of two nights. The desk was very good for working, in that it was spacious to spread out my computer and mouse. There was a small box on the desk that contained a few desk items such as a highlighter. The bathroom contained bathrobes and slippers, a nice touch. I discovered that the conditioner was empty during my shower and it was not refilled during my stay. I could have requested it but I didn't because I wasn't there for long. The SuitePad (small, interactive touch screen) in the room did make it very easy to order complimentary items I needed. I did ask for a toothbrush because I forgot mine. I received a confirmation email and the toothbrush was waiting for me when I came back from dinner. There is a parking garage under the hotel and if you park on the correct level, you don't have to go outside to get to the hotel; you can come straight up via the elevator.…

Good comfortable, clean rooms. room was equipped with all the required amenities. Very polite and courteous staff. Good breakfast. Nice location of the hotel. Kind reception staff. Taxis are organized on time. Check-in/ OUT was very simple and easy.

The location is excellent, a short walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate, Europa Mall, a wide variety of restaurants in the area, next to the subway. Very good breakfast, clean, aesthetic and the staff provides excellent service. Large, spacious and very comfortable bedrooms.

Can't fault it, perfect location and comfort. The pillow menu was a particular highlight and being offered a choice of coffee machine. The staff were always smiling and were very attentive. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.
