the hotel is in a good location and it all seems fine if looking to stay on a budget, however i found the staff unhelpful and even rude when i raised a fairly simple s concern, and the room was not very clean. the bed was terrible.

Arrived on Monday and received a nice warm welcome. It was very cold outside so we were pleased to be inside. We were on the top floor, nice room. Bit small but comfortable bed and decorated nice. The room was really cold so I turned the radiators to 5 but they were not on. My partner went down and they...

The hotel is a very good option price/quality-wise. The location close to the metro is easy to travel from and the room was just as expected. The staff is friendly as well. The rooms are a bit small, but that is to be expected of a city hotel which is in the cheaper range.

This hotel is nicely located for all of the people looking for places to eat or go out. Our room was small, but modern, clean and well equipped, with a bathroom and small closet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a very nice offer for this price.

Hotel Prens is located on Kottbusser Damm near a metrostation, so it is easy to get around. The room was small but clean, but the beds were awful: way too soft for my taste, so I had difficulties sleeping well. The staff was helpful and all of them spoke decent english. They also serve breakfast, if you feel like paying...

This hotel is super nice, staff are very friendly and helpful. The building has a lovely modern style, has a quiet back garden and eating area with beautiful spiral staircase to look at. It's all very compact but spacious at the same time. The reception is close, toilet and it has a lift to all floors. There is also a...

This is an ideal hotel to base yourself in if you're not planning to spend too much time there. It is aimed at the cheaper end of the market so doesn't have any little luxuries. But there was bottled water in our room which we could buy. The rooms are a little old fashioned and could do with a bit...

Staff is very friendly. The hotel has a great variety of choice for breakfast. The room I stayed in was very quiet even though the windows were facing the street. Loved the stay, would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for four nights, and we are satisfied. The hotel were located really good for what we wanted to do during our days in Berlin. Nice neighbourhood, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and nice bathroom, and a good sized room. We missed saftybox and mayby aircondition, but you could easily have the hole window open and the fans...

When we went out the maindoor we found everything, Nice Places to eat, short way to U-Bahn, and walkingdistance to a big shoppingsenter. All the staff were so friendly and helpsom. We will for...

Staying in Neukolln

Neighborhood Profile
Neukolln
No Berlin neighborhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as "Little Istanbul." Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
