Booked here instead of an hotel to have the flexibility & space and was not disappointed. The apartment was split on 2 floors (room 17 top floor) . Downstairs the kitchen, toilet, living area. Upstairs a lovely bathroom and spacious bedroom. There are some provisions in the fridge, plus dish washing tablets. The weather was great so we could leave...

Perfect location in a shopping area and next to some good restaurants. We explored Berlin mostly on foot or by bike which you can rent at the call a bike stand just around the corner. The apartment (16) is a duplex. On the "ground" floor there's a living room with a sofa bed, kitchen and toilet. On the upper floor...

A wonderful stay! Bright & sunny apartment; huge bathroom with heated towel rack, which was handy for drying hand-washed laundry; walk-in closet with iron & ironing board. Dishwasher & detergent available, but I could have used some regular dish soap (washing up liquid) & rag or sponge to wash the odd dish by hand. Kitchen was equipped with a kettle,...

Just about everything you could want from a two bedroom apartment (superior). Nice decor, good facilities, good bathroom with toiletries and towels etc), nicely fitted kitchen with some drinks (remarkably inexpensive, unlike the normal hotel mini-bar prices) in the fridge when we arrived. Ciomfortable temperatures, reasonably quiet, excellent wi-fi. Plenty to see and do in the area, and Alexander Platz...

We really enjoyed our stay in our one bedroom apartment at Flowers. The apartment was very clean, had a large well eqipped kitchen, a lounge area, upstairs bedroom with bathroom and extra toilet downstairs. It was about a 10 minute walk to the U-bahn and a S- bahn was closer. We went on a wonderful walking tour which left opposite...

This place was really good, the apartment was really big and we had an awesome view of the street. Such a vibrant area if Mitte. Easy walk to the U-bhn train. All in all our stay was very enjoyable. Our one issue was the beds, they were rock hard and the pillows were super thin so it was a bit...

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
