The hotel is in great location over looking the East Side Gallery and most of the things we planned to do where within walking distance. All of the staff are welcoming and helpful and the room was basic but clean. Great value for money.

the hotel is ok especially if you go to an event at Mercedes arena. Good transportation..not the best area in Berlin, it depends on what you have to do. The hotel could need a good inside renovation such as wall, carpets...but the rooms have space, clean, good breakfast. good price fr the value.

Pretty basic place. Nothing to complain about- nothing to rave about. Staff was super friendly. I was jet lagged and it was very quiet so I got good sleep. I stayed here to go to an event at Mercedes Benz theatre so that was perfect! I'm not sure it's a good location unless u have a reason to be over...

This hotel looks directly across at the Berlin wall and the river Spree so I would recommend a room at the front of the hotel. The hotel itself is a pretty standard continental hotel i.e. nothing fancy and could benefit from a face-lift but it is spotlessly clean, it also has a great breakfast which sets you up for the...

Welcoming, helpful staff, great base for getting around the city from, particularly close the the Mercedes-Benz Arena (where we saw Muse). Room was clean and serviced every day, breakfast had lots of choice and when we said we had an early start they had it ready 30 minutes earlier than usual so we could have some. Highly recommended hotel great...

Great location. Nice understated bar. Freshly prepared local food. Smack opposite the Berlin Wall rooms are small but clean and functional. There is a good range of tourist guides. Breakfast is great.

This hotel is a gem, it's more like an old school no frills environment. The staff is excellent, it is close to everything, it had wifi and free breakfast. The price is great. I've seen reviews that complain that it smelled of smoke, (Berlin smells like cigarettes) or the bed or the bathroom this that and so forth, but it...

The location, alongside exceptionally friendly staff, make this place perfect for anyone exploring Berlin for a few days. The breakfast is excellent too, there are bikes for hire, this place is an absolute bargain.

Warm welcoming, extreme staff availability in order to satisfy all client requests. They speak both English and Spanish. I've spent one night to attend a sport event at O2 Arena, that is very close to the hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Probably the best quality at the most affordable price. Highly recommended for visit Berlin, too. You...

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
