Stayed in the two bedroom apartment in December when the weather was cold and snowy.
The apartment was a reasonable cost, spacious, clean, comfortable and most important, warm. Can't complain about a thing - the lift worked, the place was quiet and the reception staff...More
This is the first time we have stayed in an hostel so we were a little unsure what to expect. We stayed in 1 of the apartments so maybe not a true hostel experience. The apartment was great, very roomy with a nice balcony, living...More
A great central location takes you immediately into the heart of Berlin. I stayed in a single room what was suprisingly large with incredibly high celings that don,t make you feel like you´re in a box as some single rooms do. Although it can get...More
The hostel is in a perfect location: 20 meters from the underground that takes you to the city center in 5 minutes.
The room, showers and toilettes were very clean. The all-you-can-eat breakfast gives you enough energy for the day :-)

The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
I borrowed an iron and ironing board at The Circus Hotel opposite and I'm sure you can borrow it at The Circus Hostel too, really great hostel. I stayed there twice. I especially recommend room 317 as It's for two people... More
