This experience is from a while ago but nethertheless still wanted to give this absolute astonishing place a review! Not sure if they re-opened by now. Hope they are or will soon cause definitely want to visit again! We have stayed in the Two Lions and the Space-Cube and both are just amazing stunning out if this world rooms! The two lions was truly breathtaking jaw dropping magical! This is absolutely one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. It is estoric, romantic, beyond beautiful, like out of a dream. It is in fact like staying in an art piece an artwork from an AMAZING artist! Thank you for making this, creating this and letting us experience this! I mean the details are even out of this world. Like being in a an other dimension. Wow just wow..... The Space-Cube also absolutely out of a dream....like being constant in a dream so difficult to go away from this dream..... What a work of art this entire magical place! As for other aspects, parking we were in luck everytime we found a place right in front or in a street nearby so no hassle with parking when we were there (we stayed 4 nights) reception was great. First plan was to stay 2 nights at the Two Lions and then to stay 2 nights in an kink appartment near Berlin, however the other location was not to our liking and very stale/dull without any ambiance/atmosphere so we asked the reception if we could last minute stay 2 more nights in an other amazing room and they were very helpfull and friendly and we could stay 2 more nights at the Space Cube :) Amazing!!! We saw Berlin and went to all kinds of places but if they would have roomservice and in room dining we would stay the entire time in this artwork. Hope the next time something like that would be possible :) All in all absolutely one of the most magical places ever! Beyond both our imagination.....

This place will either amaze you or freak you out! Floating beds, mirrors everywhere room, Thru the wardrobe room, the list goes on and on! My favourite was either the COFFIN BED, OR THE BED IN THE CAGE! To be honest, I enjoyed the place so much I asked to move rooms to experience each of the selected room themes!! The hotel is just off Kurfastendam , the main shopping street so easily got to by metro, taxi or walking! The food for me was basic, but for me I was out exploring Berlin so ate out! I would highly recommend to go here, even just to look at the rooms!! Next time im in Berlin, thats where im heading!!!

I heard a lot about this hotel, thats why we choose it on our last trip to berlin. We spend there 3 nights, each night in different room: Flying bed room, Blue room, Mirror room. To swich the room we had to Pay extra 20euro per night. To enter the hotel we got special instruction because the room key was hided in the safety box in the Wall of the hotel. That was nice and interesting. We opened it and found our room. The hotel is located on two floors, there are privat flats too in this building. The Flying bed room was not so special..nice thing was the Bath tube in the bathroom. Big bed was nice too. The blue room was the biggest one and I think the most interesting. The Mirror room was so small that there was only a bed in the room, not even a bathroom. Which was located in the common hotel area. Not so nice... Generally rooms looks a Little bit outdated and dusty. For this price I would expect something more. Here you are paying extra for the Creative room idea. The rest is just average. The reception is open only from 8-12, after that tome there is nobody to hepl you inside, just the other guests. One Day we took a breakfast, but it was really poor, just cheese, ham, jam and a boiled egg. Tmhe Best thing in the hotel was a balcony in the dining room, where we sit in the evening and watch the streets . Generally for this money I would not choose this hotel anymore. Maybe a one day to check. The rooms didnt make me WOW unfortunately, the lack of service is a problem, the cleanliness is a problem, the bathroom in the common area was a problem for me (I didnt know about that when I was booking it). The Big days of this hotel has ended...

We were driving through Europe recently and decided to have a night's break in Berlin, as we love that city. Previously we had stayed in Arte Luise Kunsthotel and this time as well we wanted something out of the ordinary. We were not disappointed. Staying in Propeller Island City Lodge is like entering a painting in an art gallery. Me and my family (our kid is 3 years old) stayed in the upside down room and it was a great adventure for the whole family. The hotel does not have its own parking but we did not have trouble finding parking in the street in front of the hotel.

I stayed here the second time recently. A friend was visiting Berlin and staying at a luxury hotel somewhere else, and she decided to spend one night here with her daughter. The room they chose was the upside down room, which sleeps 4. We spent the evening there as a gag before goiing out to dinner. We tried out the beds and chairs and took photos. This is a funky fun place, which seems a bit secretive, which is why it would be a great place to bring kids.

Normal hotel. Because of the presentation and description in internet, I thought it would be better. Worth a look just because of CURIOSITY and for ONE night. In spite of the unusual look of rooms, they are uncomfortable, I would not have stayed there for several days.

It is hard to give a review for this hotel, as for other standard hotels, as it is different. If you want experience something exclusive, you should go for it. But if you want just bed in standard square room, standard shower with large mirror, shampoo and gel provided, 24/7 reception, good breakfast and all other stuff you get in ordinary hotels, this place might not be for you. Indeed the price is above the average here. So, each room is a piece of art, some of them is strange though :) but I liked them. Most of them are still comfortable, however in many of them you have to give away a little bit of comfort: mirror is very small, closet is small, floors are slightly inclined, doors, beds... But you can change the room, if there is free, and there is normally many free rooms. The stuff is very helpful. They allow to change rooms every day, so you can experience more of them, and nice in general. However, they work till 12:00 only. Downsides: The elevator on one of the floors is not working. Mirror room does not have any closet. Most of cheaper rooms have shared bathroom. No shampoo or gel provided. Many closets are small. Mirror in "Landscape" is very small. Upsides: You get special experience. "Blue room" is amazing. Flying bed is huge and comfortable. There is a bath in "Flying bed" and "Landscape". Music is nice.
