I stayed here with my G-adventures tour group last summer. The reception staff was very welcoming. Since I was with the tour group I was not asked for my credit card. The room was clean with 2 twin beds. Anybody from north America will find the room a little small. There was soap and shampoo included. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

We stayed here for three nights and were very impressed. The hotel is extremely clean with comfortable beds. We had simple but cosy room with a view of the river, although the room was small we had sufficient space for our belongings. Breakfast was amazing, warm croissants, fresh bread, selection if meat cheese, fruit, cereal and yogurt, and hot food such as pancakes and scrambled egg definitely worth the money. The hotel is in an excellent location close to Ostbahnhof train station which was ideal for us. Only minor criticism was that the reception staff could have been a little more attentive. On checking out they didn’t ask us if we enjoyed our stay and in general looked a bit miserable. But overall we felt that the hotel was very good value for money and we would have no hesitation in recommending.

We stayed for 5 days, 2 people per room. While the rooms are pretty small for the ibis standard rooms (for the twin room the distance between the beds in 8-10 cm), they certainly do suffice, even for working from the hotel room (which we did 3 out of 5 days). The internet is good for hotel quality, no disconnections, while the rooms were very clean and breakfast was definitely excellent. The staff was polite and happy to help. The only thing i can complain is the walls, which are pretty thin. When the people next door mistakenly let the door close by itself the mirror moved. However, that was a one-time occurrence, I can't hold it against them.

We spent NYE in Berlin with the plan to go to Berghain and a couple of other places. We booked this Ibis due to its affordability and also its close proximity to Berghain. It was perfect in this respect. No frills but a comfortable base and a great location. The staff were friendly and this is a well run, clean and convenient hotel. Thumbs up from these techno heads!

This hotel was part of a New Year tour I did in Berlin. I stayed in a triple room with two other solo travelers also a part of the same tour and we all agreed the beds were comfortable. There was only one small bin which was another downside when sharing a room with three females. The bathroom was quite small for 3 people and the room lacked enough plugs for adapters / chargers etc. but we also weren't expecting a luxury stay. Rooms were a bit noisy - but that could be due to the holiday. The location is minutes away from the train station which makes heading into the city center (Alexanderplatz) super convenient. The hotel's location itself is close to the East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall) which is about a 10 minute walk to the start of it. Staff were nice. Breakfast was nice as well - more buffet style options than most have at other European hotels I've been at.
