The hotel is very good, I stayed for a wend and in bed&breakfast. Rooms are good, with bar, tv, good bathroom, safety box and mini bar. Very central position, market in the nearby and different pub and restaurants. Some attractions can be reached by walk. With a good offer a place to go back

Great small boutique hotel by the Gendarmarket. In the heart of the more modern Est Berlin, close to every major sites. Don't expect the customer service experience from larger chain, but the staff was very helpful every time we needed something. Our room was clean, quiet and very confortable. Lots of restaurants and cafes within 2 minutes walking distance.

The hotel is ok though nothing to write home about. Great location yet lacking generosity of space (small lobby, narrow corridors). But here is what happened to me: my room was not accessible anymore on second day (a generally awful key lock system). I got an upgrade to another room (took one hour plus I had to move all my... All of the staff were very helpful, but there were 2 members of the housekeeping staff, Kasha and Carina, who really went above and beyond the call of duty. I had spilled something on the carpet in my room, and they immediately came and fixed things up as good as new. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a much... More

Being a 4 star hotel and quite pricey you expect more than a average stay. The room was fine and no noise from the street, but could hear the guests next door. Its also located dead center. The place needs maintenance, a more professional approach to running a hotel (ex. not wacuum cleaning while guests are eating breakfest) and the... More

Small hotel, right across the Hilton and Gendarmenplatz. Modern executive room on the 7th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the platz. Very good and rich breakfast for 15 €. U2 and U6 very nearby. All in all, recommended.

This is my choice when staying in Berlin for work because of the location and nice rooms. Most rooms are overlooking the beautiful Dom which gives a historic atmosphere. The rooms on top floor are even better with also a small balcony for the warmer months. Haven't tried breakfast here since I prefer going to one of the many small... More

Stayed here for two nights over new years with my wife. The hotel is in a perfect location for getting around. We actually walked to all the sites around Berline but the U is right outside the hotel if you choose to that route. We enjoyed being right around the corner from the large Christmas market which was quite enjoyable.... More

Booked in March so was a little disappointed with the view we had, brick walls. That aside it was great, I suppose it was quiet because of view. The bathroom was excellent, lovely shower. Location is a real plus next to thevlargest chocolate shop and near U2 subway, good restaurants closeby and near one of Christmas markets. Would definitely return.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
