Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

I spent a night here with my wife last week. The photos on the site do not represent what it is like and it is clearly overpriced for that you get.
Our room was very noisy, you can hear the next door rooms as though in your own.
The fittings are very old and need to be changed.

Dear Sir, I just received your message and would like to say my deep sorry for all the bad experience, you had at HENRI Hotel Berlin. I apologize for your and your wife's inconvenience. Well, the Building is almost 120 years old and most of our guests do like the "old school sprit". But this can't be an excuse for dust, cobwebs, a broken shower head and no safe. May I ask to invite you to the HENRI Hotel? Could you imagine to join us again? If yes, please send me a short mail or let's talk on the phone, please. Sincerely, Susanne Klein Hotel Manager s.klein@henri-berlin.com / +49 30 88443-0

Great hotel if you want to explore Berlin. Has a lot of character and a great location. The rooms to the courtyard are very quiet. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and attractive prices. Perfect if you want to explore the city.

What a great place to stay when in Berlin!

Lovely old building, nicely refurbished but keeping all its antique charm, big old rooms with tall ceilings and tonnes of real character and for what seems a small independent hotel, nothing is lacking.

Small toilet for the size of roo

Is there air conditioner in the rooms?
No AC. They provided a fan, and I slept with the windows open. This is an old altbau building and the rooms have high ceilings so it wasn't as hot as it could have been. I was there in late May and early June and it was pretty hot, but I was able to sleep OK with the fan they provided me.
