I checked in late after a concert. The whole lobby reminds me on a horror movie. Everything is old abd in a bad condition. Especially when I used the elevator. I was scared to die. The room is ok if you like the early 90's. The bathroom is a catastrophe Small and absolutely low standard. The house is old and... More

It doesn't look much from the outside, where there is a burger-type restaurant. The entrance to reception is at the back of a rather dark hall. I booked a single room which was pleasant, views on to the back courtyard. It was very quiet, comfortable and the bathroom was very roomy. No bath, just shower. The house has been converted... More

I live only 3 hours from Berlin and travel to Berlin almost once a month. This time I was going with my wife during Pentecost weekend and so we had to book this hotel for higher price. The hotel building was terrible, the staff was rude, the overall quality of service was really bad. We had a double bed room... More

The hotel has nice room, but WiFi can you just forget. If you want you can pay 5 euros for nothing. I could not get WiFi in my room. I got the money back.... They have two PC and a café where you can have Internet....with everybody.

The rooms leave a lot to be desired. Stains on the rug, shower door did not close properly, no wifi on our floor and had to pay 5 euros every 24 hours to use it in their lobby. Bed side lights very feeble so could not read in bed. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Location very good.

The good points: (a) the staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly (or were at least when I was there: (b) it is in a nice area close to the city centre: (c) there is an excellent Italian restaurant opposite: (d) the room I was in was clean: The bad points: the lobby area, stairs and the common parts were disgraceful.... The rooms are fairly large, the location is good (near main shopping street) and the room was reasonably clean. But it's a smelly place. Starting in the lobby, which looks as if it hasn't been maintained since 1900. We had a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor, but it smelled as if people were smoking right next to you, particularly... More

The hotel is very old in style. Maybe 1950/60's in style. Could do with a refurbishment. The cleanliness of the hotel was average. Breakfast was basic. Located in a posh shopping area, with bars not too far away if you know where you are going. The price was excellent & we only basically slept, showered & changed before heading out... More
