Had a fantastic stay with my family for 3 nights. Excellent accommodation friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and is close to main station and underground should you prefer this. Friedreichsrabbe is close by with restaurants and bars for night entertainment. Fully recommend this hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Only 10 min walk from main station and a couple minutes walk in the opposite direction to the U bahn. Both were handy for us. Natural history museum directly facing hotel too. Not a lot round hotel but 10 mins walk away there is. They do have a subway and a couple of...

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, first night in a room at the front on the first floor, which was very noisy (room 103) but as soon as I've asked to change room, the staff was very helpful and move me to quiet room. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent - across the...

A small hotel situated a short tram/train/bus ride from the centre. A little, tired in places in the hallways for instance but very clean. The room although not large was perfectly adequate. Complimentary Tea & Coffee and a medium bottle of water (2€). WiFi worked well. Excellent shower, comfortable bed and TV. All we needed. There was some road noise, particularly...

I stayed in the Nordic Hotel Berlin for 3 days and I would highly recommend it. The location is great, in front of the Natural History Museum (literally! The museum was the view of my balcony), close to the main train station, to an underground station and 1km away by foot of the Brandenburger Tor. The room was cosy but...

Lovely hotel maybe slightly worn but we were not in Berlin to stay in at our room and triple check the corners of our lovely corner room with a good view! The staff was so extremely friendly at the reception! A big thanks to both of the boys there! My boyfriend ended up sick and they were so helpful and...

Chosen primarily for its location near the main station in Berlin this is a very poor standard hotel. Very small room. Toilet not clean, carpet in corridor filthy and in room not as clean as it should be.

This is a very nice hotel in the Mitte area of Berlin, not far from the riverside cafes (about 15 minutes walk) and Friedrichstrasse. The place is clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We did not have the breakfast here, so cannot comment on this aspect.

Excellent location just a 10 minute walk from the main station and my favourite Berlin gallery - Hamburger Bahnhof. But I arrived at midnight (silver haired granny on her own) and the taxi refused to take me there from the station - made me take my bag out of the boot and said that I could walk as he wasn't...

location was central as lies close to central train station however, it was extremely noisy even during the night - the fact that there was no air conditioning made situation worse as i was on the sixth floor and the room was like a green house - had to leave windows open for some air and the noise drives you...

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
