Quite ordinary room, ok for couple on tour. Close to Subway, bus and tram. Lots of Restaurants close by the hotel. Nice staff, polite! Old fashion key system, had to deliver the key every time we went out.

This hotel is a lodging facility. The cleaning is far below average and the carpet looks like decade old and the windows are probably not cleaned for decade. Location: This is close to the Zoo logical garden stattion and 15-20 mins walking. There is a U-Bahn and Bus stop approximately 200 meters from the hotel. Bed and Sleep: The bed...

The hotel itself is good. The rooms are spacious and clean, but a little bit antiquated. The location is very convenient, close to public transportation. I would've rated it better if the people working at the reception were nicer. I believe that being helpful, polite and agreeable are the most important qualities in a receptionist, especially if you're in the...

Child friendly hotel. Breakfast not included is a minus. Wifi never works for any guests. Excellent location, near subway. Carpets minus. No AC if you are planning to come in summertime. Kind, smiling receptionists.

Very good hotel in a good location. Rooms very clean and quiet. Good range of food at Breakfast. Plenty of cafes and restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Only a couple of minutes walk from u-bahn station.

I liked this hotel. I had a good quality room, with decent amenities. It was cleaned every day. The duvet and pillows could have been a bit better but for what I paid I couldn't complain. It's close to the metro station, Zoological Garten, bus routes and near a taxi rank. The neighborhood is grand and quiet with nice shops...

The staff were really friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and clean. The location is really convenient, it's a 2 minute walk from a metro stop which seemed to come 1 every 3 minutes and continue through the night. There are good restaurants and breakfast places in the immediate vicinity - although they do...

Rooms are ok basic, bathroom had just a shower but room was massive. Close to metro and a short walk 15 mins to one of the local Christmas Markets. For the price we paid including breakfast was very good. Breakfast was a wide variety of foods,

When I arrived at the hotel about an hour before official check in time - I am certain rooms were available - the receptionist offered to put my luggage into the storage room. As I was relocating, I was heavily packed with four large suitcases and a few smaller ones. The young man at the reception opened the storage room...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
