Stayed 8 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful (with one exception), but barely spoke English. Speaking German or Turkish might make your experience much better. The room felt very small at first glance, but you get used to it. I assume since the hotel is named after the Titanic, the rooms were made to model a ship's cabin. If that was the idea, it was a good idea that wasn't properly put in place. If not, then it's just very bad design. There was no safe or table, one of the lightbulbs was not working. There were 9 (!!) mirrors, yet none of them are lighted properly. Not a problem for me, but I assume someone trying to put on make up would struggle. There are only two elevators for a rather large hotel. Room was very noisy: could hear doors banging, people talking in other rooms and on the corridor. Noise from outside the hotel, however, was completely filtered out. Breakfast buffet offered a lot of options, and food was excellent. The Restaurant's menu however was just a handful of options, which was kind of disappointing, although the food was very, VERY good. Also, it does not serve lunch. Could tell air conditioner hadn't been cleaned in a while when I first turned it on. Toilet seat is like seating on a rock, sink is very shallow and low so be careful when brushing your teeth for example else you might get splash. Shower is good, easy to find good temperature, however the "bathtub" treatment they gave the floor is slippery and not really a great idea. It also leaked a little. There was only one kind of soap for the shower, which honestly smelled horribly. One of the waiters was a great source of enjoyement and joy. He always had a smile on his face and made sure to make me as comfortable as possible. As I was traveling alone, he made it feel a little cosier. It is not by any means a matter of "avoid", it is a matter of "know what you'll get". With all that's said and done, I would stay there again, but hopefully book when price is lower.…
We stayed in Titanic Comfort Mitte for 4 nights. I have to admit that we couldn't imagine how lovely our stay would be before arriving. First of all I want to say that the stuff is fantastic and really helpful. The room was also very nice and clean, while the breakfast was fantastic and there were so many options that it was difficult to choose. Special thanks to Anil Erdogan and Tuba from the reception!
The hotel was fine, but that’s it. Very quiet but central area which was nice. The door to the hallway was really thin. Woke up every morning because the cleaners were shouting at each other and knocking on the doors. You can hear every door close very loudly. Not a good place if you want to sleep in. Only two pillows in total in the double bed. The walls in the bathroom was not clean. Soap is included, but I wish there were shampoo and conditioner in individual bottles as well so I didn’t have to purchase anything that will be thrown away. Would have appreciated if it said what options at the breakfast were vegan, gluten free, milk free etc. Website said there was an 24 hour bar, but we couldn’t order anything from the bar during the afternoon on a Monday. Friendly staff though. I’m sure they would have helped if I reached out with our wishes, but I couldn’t bother asking.…
Stayed 3 nights, reception area well presented, room small, air conditioning didn’t work so had to have the window open all night which meant it was noisy, no safe so had to take our valuables out every day, no fridge in room. Staff friendly and hotel is well located for city centre. Good for 1 night and travelling light.
There were 4 of us in 2 different rooms in the hotel - my partner and I in a standard room and our friends in a superior twin. Their experience seemed to be better than ours, so we recommend upgrading your room. Positive points: Hotel is in a great location - literally 2 minutes from a U stop. Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood. Hotel has a nice lobby area. Hotel is clean. Staff are friendly. Negative points: Standard room was tiny, as was the bed - thank goodness we only brought backpacks! We had an end room which was so noisy. We could hear every door slamming and water coming down the pipes from the rooms above. No safe, kettle or fridge in standard room. Room was really stuffy so we left window open all day to air it, however the cleaner kept closing it so the room was like a furnace every time we got back! Overall, mixed reviews. I think we would still return but would never book a standard room again! (You pay for what you get).…
The location of the hotel was fantastic, super close to public transport and also walkable to a lot of the main sights (bring comfortable shoes!). The hotel itself was ok, room Was comfortable, it was just a little rough around the edges in places, the rooms could do with deep clean and a bit of tlc. Breakfast was adequate, nice enough selection. Overall I would recommend this place for the price and location, just don’t expect anything super special.
Hotel is tucked away down a side street, only a short walk from bus stop and U-station. It's in a quiet area despite being beside a very busy main road. Plenty of places to eat around the area, or there is a limited menu available in the hotel. Breakfasts are good, plenty of choice, the staff are very attentive all round. Rooms are small, but spotless, one thing to note - the WiFi is free and unsecured, don't connect to it to fill out any passenger locator forms. My only disappointment is there is no room for a hospitality tray, but other than that it was a great choice for a short break.
Located in Berlin (Mitte) this hotel is a very good choice when visiting the City. The hotel is very well located, near Alexanderplatz and it’s possible to visit the main tourist attractions in the city walking. The rooms are confortable and clean, with TV and Wi-Fi. The breakfast is very good as well with a large variety of food to choose. In the hotel bar, it is also possible to have dinner with some options in the menu. Besides that, drinks and cocktails are also available here. The staff is very kind and the the environment is very good.
the cost of the hotel is a bargain for where it is, you can walk easily to most of the main attractions. The rooms are very small and they have put mirrors everywhere to make the place look bigger. The lighting is very dim too you usually at least get bright light to get ready in the bathroom but it didnt so we just had to assume our make up looked ok. the bar downstairs was good for cocktails
We stayed at the Titanic Comfort Mitte for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. - a 15/20 min walk either way to main tourist attractions which we didnt mind or you can jump on the u bahn, the station is a few mins away. - some good restaurants nearby, we loved the "goodtime" Thai restaurant (10 min walk away) - nice rooms. From other reviews I expected a tiny room with no storage but was pleasantly surprised with the executive room which had a large double wardrobe & plenty of storage & space for two of us! Bathrooms very modern & nicely done out. They provide hand soap and a shower gel. Theres also a hairdryer in the bathroom. Plenty of mirrors. - every single member of staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. A thankyou to the young lady working on reception this morning (4/2/22) who assisted us with planning our train journey back to the airport - staff like that are a credit to the hotel. - breakfast was ok, not exceptional but it put us on for the day. Bacon & fried eggs would have been nice though!. It was scrambled egg, german sausages, potatoes, boiled eggs & a variety of breads and cereals. Coffee, juices and a little fresh fruit. We ate there one morning and ate at local bakeries the others. - yes I agree with other reviews, the duvet was very small but we asked for a second one and it was no problem. The bed was comfy and we heard no noise outside our room. The rooms were lovely and warm (you can obviously set your own temperature - we went in a cold February!) If you're thinking of booking this hotel then all I can say is we had no complaints.…
