Friendly hotel in a quiet street but near to great restaurants and bars. Our room was comfortable and a good size but not much storage. Great views across the city! A good quality continental breakfast with cooked egg options. Staff were helpful and welcoming and Social distancing, masks etc were all in place. Prinzlauerberg is a lovely part of Berlin with a relaxed, community atmosphere and this hotel reflects this. 💖💖💖
We have just returned from a long weekend in Berlin where we stayed at the hotel Birgit. It is a great hotel with wonderful quirky decor and very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent and they even prepared vegan food for me. There is a delightful little garden out the back. The location Is great. Close to major attractions and the neighbourhood itself is very cool with many restaurants and bars. Recommended.
Overall recommendation: okay if you are looking for a cheap place. Pros: short walk from train station. Lower price. Cons: terrible breakfast. No WiFi. Lots of tour groups stay here so breakfast room is often jam packed (several times we had to wait for a table to open up). Service is rather officious. “Upgraded” 7th floor room is adequate (I wonder what the non-upgraded rooms are like).
What this hotel may lack in anything is made up for by all of their incredible staff. Daniel and Filipa are superior in everything they do. They begin with wonderful smiles, and send you on your way with everything you need to know about where you are going, and how to get there. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jurine. Our room was sparse, but very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast each day is plentiful with a nice selection of meats, cheeses, breads, and much more. They have a wonderful coffee machine that makes all types of delicious coffees, or instead, you are welcome to have a pot of coffee at your table. The location makes it easy to navigate the city due to its close proximity to the U-Bahn station. We enjoyed several good restaurants in the area. Our favorite was the Indian Restaurant, Aapka, which was just a couple of blocks away from the hotel. Hotel Jurine is a great hotel choice in a pleasant and interesting neighborhood.…
We stayed at the Hotel Jurine for a couple of weeks. We had lots of sunshine in our room on the 7th floor and a lovely view of the city. The garden behind the hotel where one has breakfast or could order something to drink at other times was very pleasant. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful.
