Room was a bit small. Breakfast good. Bar rediculously small. Nice location with bus stop outside. Short walk to restaraunts and bars. We got the bus - free for tourists - 9X and got off at the zoo. There are loads of shops withing easy walk from there.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the location of the hotel meant that we seemed to spend more time on the underground than at attractions. The hotel was what it was - cheap and cheerful. If on a budget it's a good deal but be prepared to walk and use public transport lots.

The hotel is within located within 3 minutes of Mierendoftplatz U-Bahn, and by the X9 bus stop to Tegel (10 minute ride to Tegel). The reception is open 24 hours a day. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and departure. My room was clean and large. The wifi works very well. On the downside, the breakfast (though very nice...

The nice part: We got a family room for the price of a double room without asking - this was a misunderstanding because I asked for a baby bed for our 8-months-old daughter and they wrote down that she was 8 years old instead, when this would have made more sense. The family room has a double bed as well...

The staff of the hotel was rude and did not prioritise their customers at all. They laughed in our faces when we tried to ask if they would kindly refill our coffee. I liked the breakfast here. The rooms were clean and perfect for a solo traveler. Theres no air conditioning which was dreadful. I was given a fab by a friendly women working. I was a little put off by some of the other people working there because they were rude.

We stayed here for three nights and all in all it was a great experience! The hotel in itself was huge and the room had space really well. The room was clean and comfortable. Although it was pretty warm at night too. The breakfast was awesome. There was a lot of options and enough space to feed everyone. The staff...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
