Kind of no none sense place, getting into town late and having another flight out of town the next morning, settled for this place. To anyone who has a large luggage, there is a staircase you have to climb before you reach the elevator, kind of defeating the purpose of having an elevator if you know what I am saying. The receptionist is matter to the fact and quick to dispatch you to your room. It is a good think there is a convenient store near by, otherwise a small bottle of water will set you back seriously. The room is no none sense in a communist regime kind of vibe. Everything works, internet is not particular friendly, you have to pay extra to get decent speed.
I arrived at the hotel after 22, and found out that it's a shady neighbourhood with strange people around. Next, at the reception, they just asked my name and gave the keys (no passport check, no deposit, as later realised there is nothing to pay for even if something would break, everything is so old). There a lots of stairs and narrow corridors, so it's not a friendly place for elderly people. The room is spacious, but as you might expect the furniture is old. The size of the shower cabin is 1×1m, no chance to fit for people sized L. The walls are mouldy and it looks overall that you don't want to use it. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was very poor, and only 1 person running 20 tables in a darkish room. They offer a large variety of produce, but I wouldn't eat that, everything looked dull. My impression is that Germans don't know what to eat, as this is not my first stay in Germany in a hotel that costs over 120€/night, where you don't feel comfortable. …
Room was larger than expected. Lift available. Close to public transport - buses & trains. Great breakfast options. Had balcony to see the fireworks on New Years Eve. Comfy large bed. Desk, wardrobe & tv available. No free wifi available. No tea or coffee amenities available in room. Had balcony but was shared with room next door & door was at risk of falling off. Located on busy street. Stayed over New Year & was very loud new years eve with people setting off fireworks all around, even very close to the hotel. Lightening was very poor in room. Only lit by a few lamps, no major overhead light in room. Needs better pillows. Not all staff were helpful.
Rooms are spacious, comfy beds, quiet, ours had a balcony towards the garden/courtyard.Breakfast has a good variety of everything you need. Friendly staff. U-Bahn and bus-stop just outside the entrance. Indoor parking if you get here by car (€11 per night). Recommended!
We would definitely choose again the Park Hotel Moabit. First of all for the quietness of the room which is most important for us. Room very pleasant and very clean. The ladies at reception and the breakfast waiter are very professional and always eager to help and make your stay a pleasant one. The location is perfect, lively area, underground station Turmstrasse just 1 minute away, buses..very easy to get around. Numerous shops and restaurant at your doorstep. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks to all the staff from room 608. Keep up the good work!
