The hotel is very conveniently located: next to a TXL stop - Tegel express that takes 12 minute to the worst airport I have ever flown from and a subway station. Literally next door is a supermarket and it is within an easy walk to the biggest attractions of Berlin: the Brandenburg gate, Reichstag and Unter den Linden. The close...

Pros: Location right next to a subway station, though not central position. Breakfast was really good, diversified and interesting choices. Is good to have a change vs the usual breakfast. Cons: Wifi costs per hour or per day. The location of the hotel within city is good, though the neighbourhood did not look brilliant.

Check-in/ out: Friendly and uncomplicated. Staff: Very friendly and helpful Breakfast: Great buffet Room: More than enough space for two persons. Very comfortable. Big minus point: NO free WiFi. Location: Could be better. The neighbourhood does not appear very secure. Tube station within walking distance (5mins). All in all a nice hotel but because of the location and the expensive...

The rooms are large with a kingsize bed , balcony. and a very modern shower and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is generous with a large choice to suit all tastes.Staff is courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. There is a supermarket right next door and a large drug store and C & A clothing opposite. There is wi-fi but no...

This hotel was comfortable and provided a plentiful continental breakfast. It is right next door to the underground and there are buses stopping right outside to get to the centre of Berlin quite quickly. It can be done on foot through the Tiergarten although it is still quite a walk. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance which...

This hotel suited my needs for a short business trip to the city, the rooms were spacious enough and kept clean. Bathroom was adequate. Location not an issue all the sights a short taxi ride. The front rooms can be a little noisy due to traffic in the day however it was not noticeable at night.

I took the train from Frankfurt to Berlin Central and walked to the hotel on Alt Moabit. In normal circumstances it is an easy walk, however with the suitcase and the cobble style pavements not really conducive to this. I had a nice room on the fifth floor overlooking the Main Street and park, it had a nice large balcony...

The facilities are very good. Good breakfast. Location is excellent when flying to and from Tegel Airport. Bus TXL stops in front of the hotel and Metro "Turmstrasse" is approx. 50 m away. I can recommend.

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
