Had excellent service while staying there. My single room was small, especially the bathroom. All the noise from hallway could be easily heard, which was the biggest minus in this hotel. Otherwise I enjoyed. The breakfast was very nice for a small hotel, and even though I had to leave early, they arranged the breakfast for me. Recommended! :)

We spent 4 nights here recently. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We came in one night and wanted some tea. Staff member was about to go home but took the time to make tea. Great service. Loved our contemporarily furnished room. Quiet. Even though on street. Close to bars and restaurants. A great Italian restaurant is down the street....

Just stayed 5 nights and would highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a centrally located budget hotel in the centre of Gay Berlin and close to major shopping and the U Bahn. The rooms are older style, but spacious, the shower excellent, as was the wifi. The bed is very comfortable as well. Breakfast for 10 Euros...

Lovely hotel with a friendly staff. It is in a lovely old building with a front door with character and an old lift, the lift works although I didn't use it as. It is up on the third floor. The owner throughout check in was very friendly and helpful showing me places on the map and also recommending other places...

Central, clean, unique, old Berlin. Well decorated, individual rooms. High ceiling, unique chandeliers, and art work. Very close to the famous shopping at Ka De We, restaurants, and bars. My home away from home !

This hotel is within short walking distance of all the top spots in Schonberg. The hotel is housed in a rarer prewar building. The rooms are comfortable and feel like home rather than a corporate lair. The staff are helpful, friendly and keep the hotel immaculate. Highly recommended!

Located in the heart of Berlin makes it a perfect hotel for exploring the sights, shopping and nightlife.  The hotel is on the 3rd floor (I think). Different price rooms comfort vs standard well worth it. Free admission for the guests to the nightclub located below. Breakfast is simple but adequate with everything that is needed. My partner is celiac and...

I had never been to Berlin before my recent visit, and the Connection was booked quite late. But I found it easily after mastering the S-bahn and was shown to a very clean, well-appointed single room overlooking a quiet street. What do you need in a hotel? You need a comfortable bed: check. You need a nice bathroom/shower: check. A...

Great location with a varied selection of rooms. Mine was huge and the best part was the fact the the French doors opened to let in fresh air. Breakfast is included. The staff just couldn't be more helpful - they were all amazing.

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
