This was our third time in Hampton and can not fault it. The location is excellent for checking different parts of Berlin, staff is polite and helpful, breakfast is great and the hotel is clean & calm. Only one thing from this visit stops me from giving 5/5. The reason is that they have charged us 3 times of the... More

A hotel worthy of the Hampton brand. A very nice place to stay, and outstanding complimentary breakfast!! Room very quiet, not super fancy, but nicely appointed. Location in Berlin was relatively convenient, with not too long of a walk to access public transportation.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nites in a recent city break to Berlin. Got the express train RE14 from Schonefeld Airport train station to Zoologisher Garten station (about 40 mins, €3.30 single) then about a 8 min walk to the hotel, in a quiet street off one of the main thoroughfares in Berlin, Kurfurstendamm. We arrived around... More

Stayed here for a night in November - it was quite close to the airport, around a 10 min cab drive. As a Diamond card holder, all the usual benefits were extended to me and I was happy overall. I'll stay again!

Good value for money (says compare to IBIS Dresden Basti) Good free buffet breakfast is definitely a big plus. Although it's a bit far, our family managed to walk to Tiergarden (must visit-relax stroll) and also Parliament house, Jews Monument) to and fo. Wonderful christmas market in front of Zoo Banhof

I have stayed at several Hampton Inn locations in the US, which are great budget hotels offering complimentary breakfast. This hotel is definitely more on the modern-end of Hampton Inns and is reflected in the overall space of the breakfast area and the hotel room itself. The stay here was for 5 nights for the Berlin Marathon, and I definitely... More

We were here for sightseeing and enjoyed this hotel. It's convenient to the Zoologischer Garten station and plenty of good restaurants. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

What a great hotel and a great price.....at 100 Euros a night you just cant beat it....Very friendly staff,,,,great free breakfast....very good English speaking front desk. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place and I will stay here again. No need for the extra cost to get the balcony though as it... More

Stayed here for a weekend in Berlin. Good transport links nearby with 'zoo' station well accessible to the rest of the city. Also to get to the airport with a direct train from the station. The hotel itself is nice, with free breakfast and gym being a big plus (good breakfast too!). The bar and 24hr snacks are convenient, and... More

This is one of the nicest 4* hotels I have been in. The rooms are very modern, and extremely clean. The view is also pretty nice with the huge windows. The bar downstairs is open 24/7, and I just saw somebody order a pizza (and it's 23:53). Great service as well.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
