4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The hotel is well located for the new Berlin; just off Alexanderplatz and near the trendy area of Rosa Luxemburgstrasse. The lobby is rather cramped and impersonal, the bar is however spacious, although you might not want the football on the large screen TV. On the upper floors, the rooms are not large but are modern and well appointed, although... More

Well Located in Alexanderplatz, medium quality, nice service, good breakfast. Affordable prices near to train and metro station place to be suggested. Just in front good Spanish restaurant and steak House. E. Laginestra

Having stayed here for my first trip to both Berlin and German, I was hugely impressed with the value for the money this hotel offers! Situated within a 5 minute walking distance of Alexanderplatz train station, and only 10/15 minutes away from a lot of the main tourist points, it is an excellent base for a few days in the... More

If you are looking for a hotel in Berlin I would recommend this one. Great location only a short walk from Alexanderplatz railway station. Easy access to Schonefeld airport. We walked from the hotel to the Brandenberg gate which took about 40 Minutes, but worth doing as you pass the TV tower and Berlin cathedral. The hotel food was very... More

Hotel is very close and within walking distance to Alexandraplatz which is good for shopping and visiting Berlin. We had a quick check in. Room was on the 8 floor, clean with comfortable beds ( feather like pillows&duvet ) and good breakfast including in the room offer. One minus - smokers gathering around main entrance.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at Ramada Hotel Berlin! Location is really good, lots of places to go nearby and easy transport links to anywhere else (although I did find the U-bahn/S-bahn maps a little confusing at first. We arrived before we could check in, I feel 3pm is a little late but no big deal. We are able to... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in Jan and what a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly on arrival. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Loved the heated flooring in the bathroom. The only negative about the room would be that the pillows were too soft for me, but that is just my preference. Perfect location for... More

The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and a very good breakfast is served . The most amazing thing is the location which is in the city centre . No mini bar in the hotel rooms and they have smoking rooms.

We were travelling in via the Alexanderplatz railway station, which is only five minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Museum Island, cathedral, etc., and close to a stop for the city tour buses, so well situated for sightseeing. Our room was a good size, with a large double bed, dressing table and... More

Hotel was nice . Rooms clean and tidy every day , Breakfast was very good. The bar completely dead. Very good location with transports and places to visit like the TV TOWER. But I found the staff very arrogant and not helpful at all despite they speak perfectly English . I was out all day and my phone battery run... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
