The location is very good, next to bus stops, S and U Bahn. The room is small but clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed is too slow, just didin't work in many times. There's no frigobar and the room service is overcharged. And The pillows might be better! The breakfast has many options, but I saw a scene that scared... More

This is a good, comfortable hotel accommodation in an excellent location and the prices reflect that. It's your standard room for this type of hotel and you could be anywhere in the world and stay in something that looks exactly the same. That said it did the job and I have no complaints.

Couldn't fault this hotel for it comfort, location and breakfast. The price might be a touch on the expensive side, but it was worth it. Right next door to a Bavarian beer hall which was great and excellent to get to Alexanderplatz and the transport network for exploring.

We booked online with a special rate, and were happy with the location (easy reach of Alexanderplatz station, so spot on if travelling by train from Schoenfeld airport). The room was a decent size. The bathroom was clean, and although we had a problem with the hand held shower head already being cracked when we highlighted this on the first... More

The room has a small safe which also important for me. The breakfast is very good. The coffee is delicious. The only bad... More

So, as the subject states, the main issue with this hotel is in my mind extremely worrying. I stayed in this hotel for three nights, and on the first morning room service knocked at 9am, and I said to wait for ten minutes. Less than two minutes later, he let himself in the room. This can be forgiven, but the... More

Reasonably priced hotel 5 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz station which gives easy access to the whole city. Check in/check out both quick and without any problems. We were offered an upgrade for €10 per night and our room was very nice with great shower and comfortable bed. One issue experienced by us all (3 couples) was the wafer thin pillows... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
