Very clean, staff very friendly & helpful, not in the middle of everything but in a quite part of town which would suit business men or women. Close amenities though which was great! Supermarket 2 minutes away & lots of eateries so a plus for that. We didn't see the spa so cannot comment on that. But we were taken... More

We got a room on the 7th floor. Room was clean and no noise from outside. The bed is excellent. We had a twin room with sofa, dinning table and kitchenette. The bar serves good drinks and there is happy hour earlier in the evening. The airport bus from TXL stops about 500 m from the hotel, so quite convienient.... More

Really liked this place a lot. Everything was spot on. Will always choose to stay here in the future when in Berlin. Location good. Plenty of room. Lots of storage. Table to sit and eat. Separate desk space to work. Another space, sofa, to watch TV (English speaking channels, not just news channels). Separate bedroom and bathroom. Nice decor. Remember... More

The hotel stay was very good and the location can't be beat. I was able to walk to all of the major attractions in less than 20 minutes and eat at some very cool places in Mitte. The actual room was great with the refrigerator and kitchenette. The washer / dryer was a life saver as well since I had... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in September. The hotel was very comfortable and we were glad there was now free WiFi. The kitchen facilities in our apartment were quite good. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washer and drier behind a door in the bathroom. I would suggest that their utility would be improved if there... More

We stayed here in November and absolutely loved it. Facilities were amazing, bed was comfortable, room was modern and location was unbeatable. We hope to go back to Berlin again next year and would return here to stay - perfect! Lots of places to eat and drink nearby, walking distance to Alexanderplatz and transport all on your doorstep.

The hotel itself is nice and in a great location...however, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially in the winter. They have the heat set and we were unable to cool the room down. We asked the front desk for help and they were not helpful or even friendly about it. Therefore we had to open our windows... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
