I chose to stay here after it being recommended, it's a lovely place in a great location. We had a 1 bedroom apartment between 3, it had plenty of space for us. Lots of bars and restaurants just metres away and all major sights are with in walking distance.

Whats not to like about this hotel. Its in a perfect location for visiting the annual Christmas markets and is central if you are visiting the city for sight seeing. Two extra things this hotel gives you 1. It has a health area in the basement, which has a gym area, 2 hot tubs and a sauna. 2 The rooms...

To say we were impressed is an understatement. We travelled to the hotel from Berlin Schönefeld Airport using the RE7 train. We had purchased a 72 hour Berlin pass that proved good vfm. The train took us to Alexanderplatz station where we changed onto an M4 tram heading for Hackescher Markt. Exit the train, turn left and right and hotel...

A fantastic hotel, this is the second Adina I've stayed in, in Berlin, the location was far superior to the last one (checkpoint Charlie) only very slight (and I do mean VERY SLIGHT) downsides was the air-conditioning never seemed to quite get down to the temp it promised, was a little hot despite it being -3 outside, and no chocolate...

I'm in Berlin a lot and normally stay at the excellent H2 Hotel in nearby Karl-Liebkenecht Strasse. However, this time i wanted a bit more room so stayed here as it had a dining sitting area. Can't say I was disappointed ! Good sized room, very well decorated and maintained, and very friendly front desk. Only minor gripes are the...

Fantastic hotel experience. Very friendly hotel staff, very spacious rooms with really comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely kitchenette stocked with a selection of drinks and snacks at additional reasonable prices. Super location in a very central location. 1 minute walk from Hackescher train station and 7 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz station. Highly recommended for Berlin stay.

The Adina offers great "Apartment" style hotel rooms. They are spacious rooms, with a small kitchenette (2 hobs cooker, microwave and dishwasher) - none of which we used to be honest. Hotel is nice and clean and quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. It is located in the Mitte area of the city, with lots of bars and restaurants on...

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
