Upon entering I was a little concerned as the lobby did not look as clean and modern as it did in the pictures on hostelworld.com. They definitely had a great photographer. After going back and looking at the pictures one can see that the photographer used a projector to create a cool design on the walls which doesn't exist. At...

Stayed in this massive ex-factory, refurbished and repurposed from the Cold War for 2 weeks! 2 ppl, private room w bath at €69/night.... Not super cheap, but a good solid value, and just perfect in terms of quality; as the other person was my 68yr old mother! Well located for her to take public transport to museums by day; and...

Said it all in the title really, Stay here a lot with work, love the staff here, so helpful and friendly, a great attitude. Only minus would be some of the people who stay here are not the most desirable people to be around but then.. it's a hostel so can't complain. Keep up the good work IP. Gavin.

If you are looking for a place to just rest your head, then this is the place for you. The hotel/hostel is basic, but it is clean and the staff are pretty good. Free pool table and football table in the lobby, which is handy. The bar is average. The rooms and the en-suite are both fine and no complaints.

At first we were a bit unsure about sharing room with 4 others (had a 6 person dormroom), my experience before with hostels has always been that it's full of noicy teenagers and you kind of feel that you're on a semester camp for scouts... But when we came there i instantly noticed that this one of the few well...

I stayed in this Hostel for a weekend with friends, we took a 4 beds bedroom with bathroom inside. It is quite comfortable, in the heart of Friedrichshain neibourhood which is quite interesting. Close to the East side gallery and well connected to main areas in the city as it is at walking distance from the city metro. I would...

Facilities are new and clean. Good relation price-quality. Good location. Friendly staff. English, spanish and german spoken. If you are intending to spend several days and you want to cook your meals this is the right place. Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
