We had a private twin room on the 5th (top) floor.
The entire venue is very clean, modern, funky.
The room was spacious with private bathroom, in top conditions.
Not one bit of noise may it be during the day or night. (Our room was...More
It's a great place to stay when your visiting the city for a couple of days. The staff is very friendly and the place is situated perfectly. The rooms are neat and clean. You can rent bicycles next door for 10€.
This hostel seems to be popular based on other reviews but I found it to be cold and strange. We didn't bump into many other travellers and it wasn't a very social atmosphere compared to most hostels I've experienced. The private room was tiny and...More

We were group about 10 people living in Industriepalast on 8.3 until 12.3. Firstly, we were surprised that even for fresh bedsheets at the beginning you have to pay about 3 euro (they are basically not included in the price you pay per night).

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
