We stayed for 3 nights this weekend for my husband's birthday and I picked Sir Savigny due to location, cost and appearance.
Like many other reviewers it does feel like style has been prioritised over substance for the hotel. We had a great first impression...More
Great place, great location, great rooms, great staff.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone I can and we will definitely come back again.
Thank you to the staff who were all happy, helpful and very polite.
I stayed for 1 night in Berlin as I had an art show to attend.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

How much do the trains roughly cost also?

Realized this is a little late but hopefully will help other travelers. It takes 1 hour to get to this hotel from SXF. You need to take 2 trains (change at Ostkreuz) and it's usually a combination of the S trains that get you into the city centre. Remember to get a ticket that covers all 3 zones.
