Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful hotel full of character and charm. It made our visit to Berlin so special. We are particularly grateful to all your staff, especially Milan, whose kindness and friendliness was very much appreciated. We will definitely be coming back soon!
Great location for a family stay. We hopped on the train at Savignyplatz with a day ticket to explore the city. The bijou but delicious Butcher restaurant (despite its name has great veggie options!) is so handy as well after a long day being a tourist. Never Ending Love Story close by for brekkie (pricey so opt for the danish bakery with the black and white striped awning) at the other end of the block. Sir Savigny is trendy, staff are relaxed and friendly. As it’s small don’t expect turn down service in the evening or fresh water on your second day of staying. We would definitely recommend Sir Savigny and look forward to exploring the rest of their hotels.
Great small hotel. Rooms are lovely but not spacious. We had the largest suites which were nice and just big enough but would not have wanted to be in a smaller room. Staff are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about just about anything you ask. Great locality - lots of lovely restaurants and shops etc nearby. Also - 100 yards to the metro train station - was a real bonus because Berlin's trains are so good. Didn't use a taxi at all. Would definitely come back.
Enjoyed the hotel for a one night trip to Berlin. The location is just fabulous, close to the kudamm, with lots of trendy restaurants near by, the breakfast for only 18 EUR is superb, you can enjoy freshly prepared egg dishes, hot coffee and orange juice... Will definitely come back
What I liked about this hotel was the intimate nature of it being so small. I got to become familiar with front desk and kitchen staff. One item of feedback was that it became evident that some of the staff were emotional/frustrated with colleagues. This is probably not a thing you want guests to be aware of. I liked the informal table settling of the reception. Really liked the assistance in getting reservations for dinner. LOVED the beds. Comfortable and nice. The room 604 was a little cramped once I had my suitcase opened out - there was no where to put it. Overall I will recommend it.I really liked the layout of the hotel and the room. Food was good. Bit expansive. It'd be cool if there was a coffee and pastry option for breakfast. The hotel I compare this hotel directly with is Steinplatz.…
They tried to charge me extra for breakfast twice (!) even though it was included in my order. They rang my room telephone twice at night telling me to „please stop smoking“ because the alarm would have gone off. There was no alarm. I wasn’t smoking. The window was open. When we confronted them in the morning they didn’t even apologize. The TV didn’t really work: The channels were either missing or all over the place in terms of sorting. Adding to that, there was no information in the room about breakfast times for example. Also no information about that on their website. All in all an abysmal experience, wouldn’t stay there again. Room design was nice though.
My stay in this hotel was exceptional, starting from the front office team especially Milan, who was the most friendly welcoming receptionist i’ve ever seen. This guy has the ability to make your stay unforgettable. So thank you Milan! Although the front office was a bit confusing, it’s not a traditional one. There is a big table that made the check-in process very smooth and friendly. The hotel design is very cosy, warm and elegant. The room design was very nice but when it comes to the cleanness, it could be better. So definitely I will be back again and again, and I was told that there are other hotels of the same collection in different cities around the world, and I will try them all.
We loved our stay at Sir Savigny. The Suite features a bathtub in the middle of the room, what else do you want for a weekend getaway or a cold winter day? The design lives up to expectations. The service was very forthcoming. The location near Savignyplatz is amazing with its range of top notch brunch options, restaurants and bars.
The breakfast chef was very nice, but the reception lady we checked-in on Nov-20 always sit and stared at whoever came in the lobby, like an creepy old mom, till the mid night at the same day. Ask to change the room if the hotel gives you Room 202, because there seems a huge electrical power generator next to the wall and makes noise sound every half an hour.
A lovely hotel with a lot of personality! Great location, nice staff, very beautifully decorated rooms with everything needed. Breakfast great (not included, but no problem to purchase directly with hotel). Perfect general area to have an informal meeting, loved the open fire place. Will de stay again, when in Berlin!
