Me and my cousin have just returned from a city break in Berlin, where we stayed for 3 nights at the Meininger hotel and couldn't be happier.
Before our stay I had read a number of the reviews on this website and was really concerned...More
So myself and 2 friends stayed at this hotel in November for 3 nights. Check in was straight forward enough. We asked the guy at the desk where we could park as this hotel doesn't have a car park and the gentleman said just in...More

Really great location near central station. Very reasonable for those working from a budget. Food tasty and well priced. Right beside the City Bus tours as well. I would highly recommend this location as it has easy access to all areas in Berlin through an...More
The hotel is located direct next to the station Haubtbahnof. The rooms are clean, but a little bit small. You can take breakfast, but it's much easier to take breakfast into the station.
The price for an room is very good.

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
