The staff are very friendly. The rooms and bathroom were quite small but well designed and very clean. Breakfast was ample with a good selection of foods. My only criticism is that if you are staying for more than 1 or 2 days, the rooms...More
Stayed 2 nights in very nice, modern room with good shower facilities. Good soundproofing, which meant sound sleep despite being on top of the railway line.
Nice breakfast buffet - but a little chaotic, at least when it's full. Had trouble finding a seat. However,...More
Relatively new and very clean hotel. Not the charmiest place. However, the biggest problem was lack of space in the lounge for breakfast. To many rooms and to small lounge, problems getting a table. Other than that, nice location.
Not really close to the major tourist attractions, but close to the Tiergarten Park and bridge across the Spree. It is close to a few restaurants, and a 50 minute easy walk to museum island walking past the Reichstag building. The rooms are tiny. We...More

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
