We all love the way this hotel is run with a 24/7 open sitting area where food is free. Location is in Mitte and Mitte is a very vibrant area with nice small shops, galleries and cosy restaurants. Museum island is close by. We have stayed at Casa Camper before and we will stay there again.

Stayed here for a long weekend and couldn't fault it. It was extremely clean, cosy and well thought out. The staff couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. It is central and close to transport links if you need to go further a field. We made good use of the relaxing lobby and the full range... More

Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights this summer and it was much better than I actually expected. It's located in Mitte and there are nice stores, cafes and restaurants all around it (ACNE Studios on the same street, just a few steps from the entrance) and at a walkable, reasonable distance from Alexanderplatz and Museum Island. The room and... More

Could not recommend highly enough. Everything was great location/staff/bed/shower/wifi and breakfast. Great selection of snack and drinks available all day on the top floor. Got a late check out to 4pm which was great due to a late flight out of Berlin.

The Casa Camper is located right in "Mitte" - perfect for shopping and business meetings. The interior design isn't that exciting, but there is nothing wrong either. What really caught me is the bodega on the 7th, open for all hotel guests 24x7. Drinks, coffee, food - everything is right there! It would have been a 5 star Tripadvisor rating... More

Warm , helpful staff greets you, and answers any questions. The room was clean, spacious, quiet (and my room was on the first floor!). Perhaps my favorite part was the room on the seventh floor where you could get a warm breakfast up until 1400, and fruit, salads, pastries, sandwiches, and drinks were available throughout the day and evening. This... More

The hotel is new at a great location, close to everything you need and want. Rooms are very very big, well decorated with style. Staff super friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast and the 7th floor lounge that is open to all guests is a great touch that adds a lot to the stay. Only downside - free Wifi is sometimes... More

Stayed for 1 night on a business trip hotel is perfectly located close to public transport but in a quiet neighborhood with good shopping and restaurants. Rooms are large, clean and perfectly laid out. The bathroom and shower were especially good. A nice feature of this hotel is the top floor lounge where complementary breakfast is served with drinks and... More

This hotel is very well located in the middle of Mitte. There are plenty of rest, art and public transport around the hotel. The area is super nice. Although is feeling more like normal DE than Berlin. The rooms are ok. However the Windows do not open, so is a little like sleeping in an office. Windows not opening will... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
