Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Ten minute walk to conference centre and transport links. Ideal for our purpose. Had a good stay in pleasant basic room. Breakfast offering was adequate in pleasant airy space. Only negative was the frosty welcome at reception and, despite our smiles and friendly greetings,

Hotel was fine, clean and tidy with nice breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice. 1 minute walk to bus stop, 10 minute walk to train station (then 5 stops to Berlin HaupBanhoff)

Hi, The best way to get around by far is the U-Bahn metro system. Buy a daily all zones ticket for €7.20 and you can get around the city easily. This ticket covers buses and trains, including the S-Bahn overground railway. The trains are regular and on time. And easy to navigate.

I have just returned home after 5 nights in this hotel - there was a cot sitting in an alcove beside our bedroom.
