We got a studio with tall ceilings and big windows. Close to U-bahn: Bülowstrasse (U2) and Kurfürstenstrasse (U1) which is great and easy!!! It was hard to sleep with all the noise outside, but we got used to it later. The studio was very clean and the sheets smelled nice. Friendly staff!

Come 2 Friends apartments may not be in the most salubrious part of town but the U-Bahn is a short walk and there are a few shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The apartments are basic with beds, sofa, wardrobe, TV and kitchen area, however they are clean, warm and comfortable, with hot showers and all the basic facilities. 5-star this... More

Easy to get to by public transport, with U Bahn (metro) and bus stops within five minutes walk. If taking the 109 from the airport and the M19 from 'U Kurfürstendamm' to the hotel, please note that you need to walk back wards towards the intersection, cross the road to find the next bus stop (50 metres total, so not... I just got back home from my trip to Berlin, I was traveling with my sister and her boyfriend and we decided to get a cheap hotel. It was really great for us 3 because we got a 4 bed apartment with 2 separate rooms, really great for maybe 2 couples or 4 friends (the beds were singles). And really... More

We have just returned from a weekend in Berlin. We chose this apartment complex as it was cheap. As we only intended to sleep there, why spend a fortune! When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The Studio was small but had what we wanted and was clean. Our only critisism, if any, was, we were on the 4th floor... More

Eight of us went on a stag do to Berlin in May and stayed here for three nights. The accommodation is cheap and cheerful and perfect for us as we only needed a place to crash. It was quite far away from any where we wanted to go like bars, restaurants and clubs so taxi's for us was the easier... More

I stayed in a 2 room apartment during Easter with another 2 friends. The accomodation is basic, no frills. The manager was very sweet and attentive, he waited for us when our flight was delayed. It was really good value for money so we can't complain at all. It was a short walk to the underground and about 10 minutes... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
