Overall a great hostel experience! Definitely fancier than an average hostel; -Great wifi -5€ breakfast (we stocked up) -Helpful staff -Good bar with snacks -Lockers to fit a whole backpack (although our locks didn't fit) -Close to Stassburger U-Bahn station (therefore easy to get to town) We'd absolutely stay here again if ever in Berlin!

Located in the central of Berlin; dorm is OK with kitchen. But the only one thing is the shower is fixed on the wall hence it did not control as expected. The staffs were very friendly and helpful In general, it's recommended for all traveller

I stayed in a mixed dorm (biggest size) for four nights. I didn't realise the dorm came with a kitchen, which was a nice surprise. Met some friendly people to hang out with too, and even had the entire dorm to myself on my last night. The only downside for me was the shower not having a lock which, in...

This place is really worth the money - the atrium here is very nice and rooms (as well as bathrooms) are clean. The reception staff was helpful and prices in the bar inside were good. Good place to stay with friends.

Amazing hostel with everything we required. Nice room and staff. We left the luggage in their luggage room and didn't have any problems. It's close to the U bahn but in a calm area of the city. Would return.

Located in a residential area where they apparently don't have a good relationship with their neighbours because we weren't allowed to make a peep after 10pm. In fact, as we were talking in our room at 930pm trying to get to know the new arrivals that just moved in, an angry man came bursting into our room telling us to...

The atrium here is really nice and the rooms are very modern and nice! The location is a pretty easy walk from the center of Berlin and it's convenient to the transit. I didn't like how the atrium closed so early and the rude security guard kicked me out. But I do recommend the hostel and would choose it if...

Near the metro, clean and cool. Has a good breakfast not included in the price but with a really fair price. The only problem that I found was the unisex bathroom that doesn't have proper doors, only plastic ones, so it's a little uncomfortable. Except for this bathroom problem I recommend.

New, good facilities, great breakfast in the morning. Good staff for the most part except for one highly condescending man we encountered at the front desk when requesting information about good bars in the area. He was particularly rude about tourist spots, at least we give you a job! Otherwise great.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
