We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was modern, clean and comfortable, would have liked more heating in the bathroom as the floor tiling was cold when you got out the shower! The employees were friendly, helpful and above all spoke English really well. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and all public transport is within easy...

I have been staying at Fjord Hotel a few times and was enchanted by it, so I naturally booked a room at Lindemann's since they are part of the same hotel chain. To my surprise the experience was totally different there : I was assigned a MINUSCULE ROOM (about 7/8m2) with a shower right in the room (not in a...

Hallo EglantineMolokostar, sadly we could not convince you of our hotel LINDEMANN'S. The room you booked is intentionally "Economy". This is to indicate directly that this room category is rather small. I agree that stains on the wall as well as hair on the towel are a complete "No Go"! I would like to apologize for these inconvenience in the...

Just back to Berlin, and I spent 3 nights in this hotel, the room was clean, music when you arrive in the room, and even if the room was on the road side, I didnt hear any noise. On top of that, the staff is really helpful, smiling, really nice and good advice. I definitely recommend this hotel !

We stayed at LINDEMANN'S for 4 nights. Paid for the early check in (15 €), arrived even earlier and enjoyed breakfast while they prepared the room. Staff were very helpful with recommendations for dining. The hotel is on Potsdamer Straße and you can walk directly straight down to Potsdamer Platz in about 20 minutes. There are some local restaurants nearby...

Used the hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting family nearby. 5 mins from Ubahn. Expectations low (not expensive) but the service and ambience were excellent. Friendly, informative staff, room with good quality fittings and fitments, cleaned every day to a high standard. No restaursnt onsite but no shortage of interesting eating places nearby (and grocery shops for diy) No tea/coffee...

What a great little hotel! Clean, good size room for 3 adults and really close to public transportation. Great little restaurants nearby but walk to Potsdamaer Platz was easy. Staff was so nice and helpful with getting bus/metro day passes and anything else we had questions about. We did not eat breakfast here but was busy with guests when we...

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
