We stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff was very friendly and the room was typical German (old style and a lot of wood) But it was full equipped and clean! We could park our car on the property (we were lucky because there is limited space). The hotel is just next to the city walls and from...

This guest house hotel was well located and in a quiet area, just outside the Roedertor gate entrance to the town, and an easy walk to the centre. It was easily the nicest place we stayed during a recent trip to Brussels, Amsterdam and Germany. Rooms were spacious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The washroom was large and...

We had a beautiful big room, light and airy with plenty of windows for a fresh breeze, and a big bathroom with a deep tub. The room was a great price and included a delicious breakfast with an egg, the typical German cold cuts, great bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and fruit. The facility was spotless, the bed comfy and inviting,...

Stayed here based on reviews and need for location close to town (right outside gates) and free parking. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room comfortable, spacious, clean and quiet and the breakfasts were excellent. What more can you need? Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Also ate at restaurant.in hotel and can recommend.

The hotel itself is nice, really few complaints had I stayed here in fall or spring. The problem was that we booked on a hot summer weekend. There is no air conditioning, just a small fan. To prepare, we left windows open, but all blinds & curtains closed so the room would stay cool. At night, the room was so...

This family owned hotel just fit the bill for us! It was very clean, in a wonderful location and the price was perfect. We happened to meet the owners son late at night as we were looking for a hotel.

2 star accommodation. Location: darn near perfect. Atmosphere: also near perfect. Cleanliness: excellent. Value: excellent. Size of room/bathroom: a tad small but you only sleep/rest there. Food/value in restaurant: near excellent. Staff: excellent. The street is busy/noisy during the day but not a problem (for a front room) at night. Ear plugs were provided but absolutely not needed. I've stayed...

Great location right outside the Roedertor Gate and a short walk to the center of town. Quiet at night as it is not a busy street after the stores close, but rather noisy during the day. They do provide ear plugs. Small room with a small but clean bathroom and a great bargain for the price, which includes a good breakfast....

This hotel is ideal if you want to save money by staying outside the old City Wall but still be well placed. This hotel is easy to locate, our Satnav took us straight to the door, but it is literally a 2 min walk to the Roedertor Gate and you are inside the Medieval City. The hotel had parking for...

This small cosy hotel is in a great location right at one of the gates to the old city and within walking distance of the railway station. We were up one floor and had a good sized room overlooking the street with a nice bathroom. The hotel is very friendly and has a great restaurant where we ate both of...
