We paid months in advance a room in this luxury hotel. When we arrived they were overbooked and pushed us off to a much lower quality hotel as if somehow we wouldn't notice or care. Manager was rude. We think they got an offer for a group and decided to bump us out of the hotel. No effort to contact... More

The hotel was just gorgeous; an interesting mix of old town charm and interesting art. The rooms are well appointed and very modern. Then there was the restaurant - creative and delicious beyond anything else I have tried in the area. What a wonderful place to call home, even if just for a couple of days.

I love the friendly staff.. The rooms are clean and spacious.. I love that restaurants and shops are in walking distance. There is a park within walking distance. I like the B and B feel , but a hotel.

Decided to stay here mainly for its location. It is literally right outside the wall at Galgentor (Gallows Gate), and next to the P4 parking area for Rothenburg. We were on a driving tour and needed a place to park, without having to drive into the old city. There are 11 parking lots in front and a few more behind... More

This hotel has the charm of a large B&B but with hotel style. Lots of wonderful features and interesting nooks. Our room was upstairs off the main building and was spacious and quiet. The breakfast offered is great with such a variety offered and fresh baked breads, housemade jams and jellies. The hotel is opposite the entrance to the outer... More

OUR ROOM was sold as a double but barely large enough for one person. Location was excellent just a short walk from the walled town. Good restaurant. Service was good, everyone spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. I would return here but definitely get a larger room.

We came here specifically for the restaurant which had excellent reviews, but it was closed for a few weeks while we were there. The hotel itself is lovely and feels like an exclusive boutique hotel. Please note that the photos on the website depict their more expensive rooms. We booked a standard double and while it was nice, it looked... More

By coincidence, we happened to visit during the Imperial Festival, arriving during the day before Friday night festivities when the crush of people shows up. I mention that, because that is one of the busiest times of year. Even so, as we walked through Rothenburg, there were parking spaces, and it wasn't a mad house. When we booked the Mittermeier,... Just on the other side of the wall from old town Rothenberg, this gem of a hotel is just a quick 10 minute walk to the heart of old town. Beautifully decorated modern decor with uniquely picked antique accents, amazing breakfast spread, free Wi-Fi and parking. There's supposed to be an awesome bar and restaurant attached to the hotel that... More
