This hotel is located in the perfect spot to explore the old town of Rothenburg. It is only a few minutes away from the Crime Museum and the market square and in easy reach of dozens of restaurants and shops. The building itself is historic but the rooms inside are up to modern standards. There is no a/c though, just... More

Very clean and quiet hotel, located in the city walls. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was large enough and the balcony was an awesome surprise. The bed was very hard but we slept anyway after all that sight seeing.

Rothenburg is by far one of the most if not the most picturesque town that we had the pleasure of visiting recently. The entrance to the town alone is breathtaking. We savoured every moment of the late night stroll through the town and a relaxed night cap at a quaint bar on a side street. It was not the town... More

Wonderful accommodations and very welcoming. In-house restaurant full of locals eating, always a good sign. Food and house wine delicious -- they have a family vineyard and their own wine cellars. Located at the iconic image that defines Rothenburg. Much of the hotel dates back to about 1400. Central location means you can walk to everything. Parking at a premium... More

"Like stepping into a fairytale", or a museum. That's what Rothenburg ob der Tauber feels like! The hotel is PERFECTLY located, so you look out your window and straight onto those fairytale streets and houses. The rooms are big and clean. The bathrooms seemed new and were also very nice and clean. Breakfast was included and good. And the hotel... More

Friendly staff, clean room, great location and a good breakfast. There is a parking lot which is very useful but costs 8 Euros a day. The room we were in has great views but is noisy from the traffic below. This did not bother us but may be a nuisance to others. We were initially given a quieter room but... More

You can't beat the location. It's right across the street from the picture of the fork in the road everyone knows of Rothenburg. Our room was outdated and without AC, and windows open, some bugs flew in. Quaint though.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a Christmas Markets tour. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. The location was outstanding, and I had some of the best sauerbraten of my life in their restaurant.

The hotel is well located with a garage . The room had a balcony and was large but if you are going on summer beware: they don't have air conditioner. They don't have wifi too. The breakfast included , was good. There's no minibar in the room .
