We stayed at this site on the 23rd July for 4 nights and loved everything about this site ,it stands in a wonderful small village just below rothenburg with bike trails and a steep walk up to the town of rothenburg ,we took a taxi up one day and it only cost 5 euro , which we thought was good... Excellent, compact campsite. Well managed and organised by the German couple who speak limited English but are friendly and work so hard! The toilet and shower blocks are new and very clean. The washing machine and dryer is a little expensive and accessed under supervision which is a bit awkward if you are trying to organise your underwear. The washing... More

this is our second visit to this site the other occasion being two years ago. the reception was very friendly and charming, he directed us to our spot so that there was no confusion as he gets busy with stop over traffic. we did however still have plenty of space. the facilities are immaculatly clean and organised with plenty of... Small but great camping. The owners are nice and hospitable. It's a clean and quiet camping, the bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day. The environment has a great nature and is good for relaxing.

After a long drive to Rothenburg we were so pleased when we turned up here. A charming little site with level pitches. Ok, so not the most spacious but enough space to make yourself comfy! Everyone very friendly even with language barriers! Owners were great and very accommodating when we needed something that we had lost. Great little shop that... More

We thought we'd found an ideal site for visiting Rothenburg as there is a path leading up to the town so no need to take the car. The facilities were excellent and things were going well until we took our car out one day. When we returned, the site next to us had 2 vans parked on it, utilises our... More

Spent two nights camping at this charming little site, located in a village at the bottom of the hill on which Rothenburg sits. Weather wasn't great while we were there, but the ground stayed relatively firm and the facilities were kept spotless. The campsite also has a really good shop with all the essentials and the owners will order you... More

We have just stayed for one night and found the campsite very clean and organised. we were directed to our pitch which was level and spacious enough for our caravan and car. All the facilities were spotless and they have a small shop on the site. It is located in a small attractive village with three charming inns and is... More

Campsite is situated at the foot of the hill leading up to Rothenburg which is about a 20 minute walk (there are benches so you can take a rest on the way if necessary). We first stayed here 10 years ago and stayed here again in summer 2012 in our VW camper. Its a great way of visiting Rothenburg without... More
