+ The staff is great, very warm and friendly. Always willing to help. We were 2 familes with young kids and they were very helpful and nice to them. + The Location is good. It is 5 mins walk from the Train Station and 10-15 mins walk to the City Center. There are some departmental stores nearby. + The breakfast... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the front desk staff. The balcony overlooks an auto junkyard of some kind, and it's not a private balcony, it's a long walkway outside of every room. I didn't partake of the breakfast, but my husband said it was awful.

Thank you for taking the time to give our hotel a review. It's true that our neighbor has a car dealership. I'm sorry that your husband didn't enjoy our breakfast. Among other things, we offer different kinds of baked goods (bread, rolls, muffins and cake), four different kinds of cereal, three different kinds of jelly, honey, nutella, and peanut butter.... Rooms were small- location out of old town around 600 mtr away from old town gate. Free Parking facilities ample - that's the only advantage No character of the place Breakfast was ok nothing much. Reception on first floor is biggest hurdle - u hurl bags up the elevator - quite a pain

Nice hotel in walking distance to the old city. Free Wi-Fi and car park. Very nice and service minded staff. Good breakfast and comfortable beds. The traffic can be a bit disturbing if you are a light sleeper, but didn't give us any problems.

From the outside this hotel doesn't look very welcoming, but that is overwhelmingly compensated by the staff and the interior. Although the room and breakfast room are decent and nothing special. Say basic German, so you know that you get what you would expect. The Merian has its own parking lot without surcharge. Which comes quite handy in Rothenburg. They... More

I moved here when the last hotel was too hot, and I couldn't sleep with an open window due to a beer garden below. Service was nice, the breakfast typical, the room was clean, and parking was free. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the old city, meaning, I could sleep with an open window and the outside... More

The Merian hotel presented a strange combination. The rooms was very spacious comparable or even bigger than suits in other hotels. The bathroom felt like a hospital room and looked spartan. Both areas were spic & span though. A kettle was provided and some tea bags for your convenience along with a bottle of mineral water. The breakfast was pleantiful... More

We had a great time at this hotel!! The proprietor was lovely, the staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and fresh, and the breakfast was delicious. The only problem we had was the wi fi signal being weak. Otherwise, we couldn't be happier. It is difficult finding family rooms for four, and this one was among the best we... More
