Dinkelsbühl is like stepping back in time and the Weisses Ross is no exception. The buildings date from the 1400's. The town sustained no damage during WWII and this gem of a town is well taken care of. We actually stayed in the hotel annex across the street from hotel/restaurant. The room was clean, bed had good reading lights, the...

My trip to Dinkelsbuehl was a 65th birthday treat from my friend so I don't know what it cost and therefore cannot comment on value for money. However, it was a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful Medieval town. I would recommend "sensible" footwear as most of the streets are cobbled. The Minster of St. Georg is a must-see. There...

This hotel is a lovely old building with upgraded amenities, like hair dryers and nice hot showers. We stayed across the street from the main building, and both buildings - and most of the town - are quite old. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, meals were fine with plentiful choices for the breakfast and a good selection for...

This is now the fourth or fifth time I have stayed at this property and I can easily say I will always return when visiting Dinkelsbuhl, Germany. The staff is very friendly, especially the older gentlemen that runs the place, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, and it looks like you are visiting a fairy tale. Very...

We stayed at Weisser Ross for one night and enjoyed the old hotel very much. We stayed in room 24 across the street from the hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a comfotable bed. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection of food and drinks. We did not have dinner at the hotel. Dinkelsbuhl is a small, charming...

Can't say enough about this quaint, charming hotel. We booked from a web-site and stayed two nights here. Our room was well furnished and clean. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine! The town is beautifully preserved and there is a lot to see and do. We made day trips...

We stayed just one night at Weisses Ross in Dinkelsbühl on our regular trip from Hasselt-Belgium to Vienna-Austria. We took this hotel because of its low price, while still having a fair score on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed: for just 78Euro we had a double room inclusive breakfast. The room was quite large, with a nice bathroom. Reception was...

Dinkelsbuhl is a wonderful little town, especially around Christmas. I was expecting all the comfort and warmth of a Bavarian Christmas, and the hotel was exactly what I had hoped for. First I should clarify we stayed at the guest house, which is technically part of the hotel but is the building across the alley. This was great as it...

We just returned from 2 weeks in Germany, visiting the Christmas markets and enjoying the Christmas spirit, German-style. We had several nights where we hadn't booked a room in advance, since we wanted to be free to go wherever the spirit took us. We had lunch in Dinkelsbulh on one day, and found it so charming that we decided several...

Great location in this very special little town. Dinkelsbuhl is not only fun to say, but fun place to be. Not lots of tourists, just the real people who live there. Hotel and owner Anka (?) very welcoming and English was very helpful. Dinner at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast spread provided everything we could wish for. Our...
