If you want to fell like back in `80s, you can choose to stay at Augusta. Probably nothing changed there in the last -many-years so you can call it a piece of history. Since it`s a hotel and not a museum, you can be easily disappointed by what you will see. Furniture and stile are certainly vintage but at least... More

We stayed in Augsburg only 1 night. Augusta Hotel made a poor impression on me from the very start. The evening receptionist was terribly rude and unwelcoming. The hotel has a paid parking garage, but the directions to get to it were so carelessly given that we ended up at a close-by garage. Not easy to find either entrance to the... More

We had a little problem finding the hotel with our GPS. The address is on one street, but the entrance is on another. The website did mention entry from the correct street, but we did miss it and parked in a garage around the corner. It turned out that this was not the hotel parking, and we promptly reparked at... I stayed at Augusta around Mid-November in 2015. It is a nice cozy hotel with Humongous rooms. The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area with easy access to the tram. There are plenty of eating joints around and it is a pleasure to walk around the surrounding area. There are several Japanese and Indian restaurants around.... More

I visited Augsburg on January and stayed at this hotel. It was a very nice hotel with comfortable room and nice services from the staffs! The view from the rooms are also incredible! The color scheme of the room is brightly and creatively planned. The bed and the room is generally nice but there are a few things that made... More

Stayed for a night in February for lads trip. Can't really knock it. Friendly staff, clean and big room if a little musty smelling. 5 min walk into town centre and served its purpose but absolutely not posh, luxurious or romantic in any way! Standard 3 star

I have been staying here every year since 1996, usually for 4-5 days. My room is very generous with a comfortable sofa and armchair and a businesslike desk. I sleep beautifully in the big bed, but always ask for a lighter duvet. Breakfast is excellent with a great choice. The staff are welcoming and well trained and I'm always happy... More

This hotel is good for families. I brought my two children and it was great because it's located near shopping, Basic bio store, and a short walk from the Moritzplatz. The configuration of the room was nice with three separate beds and the suite had a table and desk and was quite roomy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The... More

We got really lucky and got a huge room - sure some of the lights weren't working and the shower door was a little stiff but otherwise we were really impressed with the room. Great size. Well enough furnished. Nice big fluffy pillows and thick duvets. High ceilings and great central location. This will be the hotel we will always... More
