We did a trip to visit Christmas markets all around southern Germany and the two best/nicest ones were actually the ones in Regensburg! This wonderful hotel was also the highlight of our trip, by far the nicest, most original hotel I've been in. Excellent, very friendly and attentive service from everybody. With the Bohemian, you are right in the middle...

This is a perfectly located hotel in the old town of regensburg. Staff is super friendly , wifi works really well. Breakfast is slightly on the expensive side. Hotel bar is worth going as well. Also the italian coffee bar next door, but that is another story.

This is a well modernised hotel in an older building. Our room was on the top floor, spacious, with all the expected amenities. As noted by others, there is no lift. Our room looked onto a main thoroughfare which was largely traffic-free. Effective double glazing ensured little sound penetration at night but did not completely exclude the sounds of delivery...

The hotel has no lift. Avoid this option if you carry a lot of luggage or if you cant climb three floors. Most rooms seem located at the third floor or a at annex only accesible from the third door. I was only carrying a small backpack and I was offered assistante with luggage (LOL!) but It is difficult to...

This was a splurge for us, but we were celebrating my 40th birthday, so we went ahead and booked the suite. We had a marvelous weekend here! The hotel is very original and cool. Everything was very clean. The suite was very special in design as this is a renovated building that is several hundred years old, and it was...

Characterful and welcoming. My room though not massive was quiet with a rustic yet modern feel. A great shower room. Breakfast was fresh and with scrambled eggs made-to-order just the ticket. Location was close to the centre and yet I heard not a sqweek from the street, but I did hear the creak of the floor from above. Parking was...

Absolutely loved staying at this boutique property. The place is ideally located with wonderfully helpful ladies on reception. The breakfast was lovely as was the glass of prosecco which we received as they readied our room. the building is old but has very few of the old features remaining - although a step in the dining room is delightful. The...

This hotel is charming. Centrally located in the old city of Regensburg. Ideally suited to explore museums or take a stadtmaus tour. At Advent time great for exploring the pretty Christmas market and of course the shops.

New Years Eve we were on the tippity top floor which had about 4 flights of stairs, and no lift :( We had a toddler and a 2month old and bags and our baby carriage, which was really a haul to bring up all those flights of stairs. However, We LOVED our room though! The view was GORGEOUS!! - we...

“I never saw the rooms, so my tip would be to make sure you get the room and front door key before the hotel closes because then there is no chance to contact anyone and the hotel definitely does not contact you.”
