We've booked a room for 2 adults and one 8-year-old child. Upon our arrival, we were told that a child sleeps with an adult in one bed. However, we had 2 single beds in the room so I'm not sure how a child and an adult were meant to fit in one bed. Therefore, we were forced to upgrade the room and pay 20 Euros to get the extra bed. We would have booked a nicer hotel if we knew that the price will be 20 Euro higher. We've stayed in many other hotels and when we booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child, there was always an extra bed, pull-out or sofa bed for a child at no extra charge. The other issue was that the air-con was pretty much useless: it only cooled a small area by the main door. We took one mattress off the bed and put it on the floor, and my wife and our son ended up sleeping on that mattress. Additionally, the hotel looks OK on the outside, but the interior is dated. I cannot recommend this hotel and would never stay there again.

Dear Krzysztof M., thank you very much for your review. It is a pity that your stay did not go as we imagined. You are right, we charge 30,00 Euro for an extra bed because this extra bed also causes extra costs for example the preparation, cleaning and washing. There is no difference between an adult and a child in this case. Usually our air-conditioner cools down the whole room. We will check the room and the air-conditioner thank you very much for the annotation. I would appreciate when you would give us a second chance and come visit us again. With best regards, Roxanne Mackey and the Arvena Messe team

Functional is my go to word for this review. My room 275 was a corner room with no bath but good air con. It was very clean with single beds, TV, and mini-bar. Towels were "functional" but not fluffy. Breakfast buffet was okay. Crispy bacon, boiled eggs and powdered scrambled eggs were the hot items on offer. Breads, cold meats and cheese plus fruits. Coffee was brought, tea was DIY Small car park but you could park in the road outside unrestricted. I was working at Messe which was a 5 minute stroll across the road - perfect. The only food on offer after breakfast was a range of heated up pizzas. Missing a trick here with many hungry workmen. As far as the staff go, there was one evening member a lady with dark hair who was brilliant. Funny and engaging. The rest were grumpy...

We stayed in the hotel while traveling through. From the highway you are quickly there and hotel offers free parking. Not far from hotel you can take the metro to the center. However adjacent to the hotel is a nice park and you can visit the nazi parade monuments. The hotel has old fashioned but big and clean rooms. The breakfast was really good: a lot of variety and good quality

Booked this hotel because it's only a 5 minute walk to the 'Messe'. The only food available in the evening is a selection of pizzas. The bar is reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet is very good - a wide selection to choose from. The room was comfortable enough, with a mini-bar if you're desperate! All in all, a reasonable hotel for the price.

Dear MickC115, Thank you very much for rating your stay. As a bed&breakfast hotel we do not have a restaurant or a large kitchen. As a additional service to guests who arrive late we do offer some pizzas. We are a little disappointed that you rated us 3 of 5 because of that service, but it is nice to hear that you liked everything else while staying with us. We would be glad to welcome you again and send best regards, your Arvena Messe team

Very well situated for going to the DTM F3 at the Norisring only 25 mins walk to the track. Rooms were clean, large, had a fridge, internet access, friendly staff, a bar and a great breakfast buffet which we really enjoyed before heading off to the race track. The only gripe is they could do with serving an evening meal as there's not much about to get dinner from, other than that it's a very good hotel.

Dear Fergus H., Thank you very much for this lovely review which we appreciate alot. It ist great to hear that you enjoyed your stay that much. As a bed and breakfast hotel we unfortunately do not offer dinner - unfortuantely there are not enough capacities, f.e. a large kitchen, to offer dinner or lunch. Our reception team will gladly recommend restaurants nearby. We hope to see you again next year and send best regards from Nuremberg, your Arvena Messe team
