Visited with my brother for business, and stayed for 4 nights. the pros: Great location in the heart of the old town, great sights within walking distance. "Old school" design and "feel", if you like that sort of thing (i do). Very polite and helpful reception desk guy (i forgot to ask his name). What seems to be a new...

Tricky to get to with the roads works ongoing at the moment. On arrival I was invited to park my motorcycle in their secure car park. A very good start to the one night stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The room was clean, the restaurant produced some tasty food and an interesting German wine list....

This is the 8 or 10th time we are staying at Steichele Hotel when we exhibit at Powtech in Nuremberg. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city, close to the subway that goes direct to the exhibition. Still it is very quite. Even though it is located only one block from the main walking street...

We have stayed here three times when coming to the Kristkindlmart. It has old world charm, very good restaurant and cozy weinstube. It is well located just half block from the pedestrian zone in Nurnberg--very easy to walk all around the old city. Personally I think it is 5-star for charm, friendliness and helpful staff; but with weak or no...

This hotel is easily accessible from the public transport. Rooms is small but this was not a problem as we only stayed 1 night and we did not spend a lot of time in our room. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good with enough variety. We were very glad that it already started at 06:15, because it gave...

Really great German cooking. Had 2 lovely meals here in the time we stayed in Nuremburg. It was super busy on both visits and the service was great on both occasions. We were able to eat off the Christmas menu which was superb. The portions are generous and very heavy - make sure you're hungry on arrival.

A genuine Bavarian feel to the place, family owned for three generations. The restaurant was very popular with locals and tourists alike, and the food can't be faulted. So book a table early! WiFi in the rooms was terrible - couldn't get a signal in two of our rooms and had to go downstairs to the lobby to get a...

Very nice hotel in the old town of Nuremberg close to all shops and the interesting old town. Good breakfast included. We had a large room at the 4th floor with its own gated entrance :-), so actually located on the 5th floor.

On a business trip, our hosts took us here to taste some rustic(and heavy) local food. Old style interior, friendly and fast service and good selection of local wines. Food was little greasy and not that special, but portions were huge, so You won't leave here feeling hungry.

I lived in Nuernberg and stationed in the military in the late 70's. I wanted to revisit the city with my wife, who lived here as a small child. I selected this hotel because of its central location, old historic inn, not a chain, and the breakfast was included. I wanted the traditional German Breakfast and this hotel gave it...

“The rooms we looked into and our room were excellent. We had a Delux room on first floor. (Second floor to us at home) not spectacular but everything we needed.”

“Only some rooms can pick up the free WIFI ... televisions, but if you are looking for english language television --- CNN is the option!!! Only option!!! If you arrive in Nuremburg via train, hope on the underground and get off at the underground 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Do NOT get a taxi ... not worth it! The elevator/lift is very quirky ... so is the hotel - but definitely the only place we would stay during a visit to Nuremburg. Great location, great value!”
