Were checked in by the rather grumpy gentleman "D", who grunted some monosyllabic instructions at us, dropped our passport and credit card on the floor but did not apologise (or sanitise them) and was generally unpleasant. If you don't want to deal with 'the public', do something back of house! Hotel is located in a relatively ok area, but we discovered - to our regret - that we had to walk through the red light district to get into the city. Housekeeping staff did not understand my simple questions in English (native speaker) or German (did Mittelstufe 3 at Goethe Institut, back in the '80's and use the language almost on a daily basis). Furthermore they seemed to walk around without any face masks, something guests were asked to do at all times. Elevators take ages to come, and should be re-programmed to take Corona into account (i.e. not stop at every floor if already 'occupied', seeing as only one party can use them at a time). In the morning, we were surprised that breakfast cutlery and napkins were left on tables; not sure how the hygiene aspect of this works out in 2021...!

Response from Daniel Günther, Guest Services / Front Office at Park Inn by Radisson Nuremberg
Responded Sep 15, 2021
Dear Nossi, first of all SORRY that you had such a bad experience with us. This reflects not our standard and most important not our spirit! For sure I will take care about it by myself. We know which employee you mean and your feedback runs to our general manager. We will find a solution for this matter. We are also sorry for the communication problems with our Housekeeping department. Just for you to know, our Housekeeping Department is outsourced and we do not have the opportunity to choose the employee. But for sure we will forward your feedback to the outsourced company. We are really sorry again for this bad experience and hope you give us a second chance to show you Nossi that we can do it better. We wish you all the best and stay safe. Yours, Daniel Günther - F&B Manager

Modern room for a reasonable price. We liked the warm welcome, lights in the room, super comfy bed, spacious bathroom and that it is just a very short walking distance from the city center as well it’s super close to the central train/bus station.

This has been my 2nd stay there. The location is perfect walking distance to the center. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Check in was easy. I didn't use the parking garage as it's free to park outside after 8pm to 8am. I arraived at 6pm, paid 4 euros for 2 hours parking till 8pm and was free after.

The hotel is much above the expectations you can have. A five stars between four stars hotels! To start from easy access to very friendly staff, direct access from garage to rooms, good breakfast. Is is really near the city center- very easy to find. The only reason is why I gave 4 stars is because the rooms are small. Since we were traveling with our son, they gave us free upgrade for business rooms, so that we can be more comfortable- what we really appreciated! When we asked extra pillow - in 1 min housekeeping brought it. If I will be again in Nuremberg I will definitely stay again here, I won’t search for better hotel.

Really disappointing stay.  Staff were dismissive and rude. Humiliated publicly for expecting food to be charged to room. Demanded to come to reception while sleeping to settle bill. Were we going to run away? You had my card details! We had another night before check out! Requested pillows as they were completely flat. Waited 5 hours and after numerous requests were they sent. Had telephone cut off...probably because I called 3 times to find out what was going on. Ignored and patronised constantly. Room smelled of cigarettes. Poor service Radisson. Won't be staying here again.

Response from RadissonHotelGroup, Customer Care at Park Inn by Radisson Nuremberg
Responded Feb 17, 2020
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that the cleanliness of the room and the level of service you received from the staff was less satisfying at that time. Also, we are saddened to hear the situation about billing process and if the pillow did not meet your expectations during your stay. Providing our guests with comfortable and enjoyable experience is of extreme importance to us and for that reason we are incredibly sorry that we may have missed the mark. Your observations will be directed to the department head for the appropriate corrective measures that needs to be taken. We hope for another chance to exceed your expectations.
