I booked this hotel specifically because they advertise on numerous sites that they offer a vegan breakfast. The 'vegan' option that is included in the self-service breakfast bar was a half empty plate of cold, shrivelled, fried celeriac root and a few pieces of red bell paper out of a jar. I asked the front desk where the vegan options were, and they confirmed that the 'vegetables' were the entire offering. We left and went to Cotidiano restaurant for an amazing vegan breakfast. Don't waste your money on Relexa. Go to a hotel in a better location and definitely go to Cotidiano if you're looking for a very good breakfast-vegan or otherwise.

This hotel stay was awful, and the management are scammers. The room had no kettle at all for tea services and i had to keep going downstairs whenever i wanted to collect hot water which was awful, time consuming and not something you would expect in a relatively expensive hotel. There were no hairdryers in the room or on site that i know of but definitely no facilities in the room itself. The housekeepers were disrespectful, awful and did not seem to care about the customers and finally the hotel management scammed me out of 250 Euros claiming there were some dents on the wall near the bathroom after i left the room. This claim was in a room that was already dirty and not very clean when i arrived. The experience at Relexa Hotel Munich has made me vow never to visit Germany again. I would advise any person trying to book a stay in Germany not to book this hotel as it is a nightmare.

Fantastic location for oktoberfest right in centre. Rooms are clean and functional. Staff were absolutely fantastic...1st class treatment. A member of our group injured himself and we needed a certain type of splint(Hospital prescribed) the Lady on reception rang a local chemist and arranged it all... All staff were exceptional thou...The lady in question was wearing a covid style mask at all times and had black hair I didn't catch her name, but she was very helpful. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 Stars is that the toilet in the rooms did not have locks on them! Ill use again when I go to oktoberfest definitely

We have been traveling in Europe now for 6 weeks and have stayed in many 4-5 star B&Bs, castles, manor houses and hotels and I have to say that the Relexa Hotel in Munich is the nicest Hotel we have stayed in so far! Our room is light, airy, very spacious, very clean, and modern. Big plus is that the AC is terrific, (currently heat wave is in progress and today is 97 degrees) the bed is huge Cal king size very comfortable and the shower is great! The staff have been very respectful, friendly and accommodating. Insulation must be great because the room is so quiet, you don’t hear traffic or people. Cathedral is just a couple of blocks away and in the room we do not hear the bells, amazing. We are having a very restful stay here. The hotel is in walking distance of the Marienplatz and very good laundry and dry cleaning facility just a block away. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Train station about a 10 min walk. Highly recommend you stay here if in Munich, you won’t be sorry!

Room is nice, modern and clean. Pillows were awful but bed itself was comfy. No complimentary water as is common in German hotels, but a bottle of water is €7.50 for a 750ml bottle! Hotel is situated on a busy street at the better end of an undesirable area. We had to walk through this area to get to the city centre. And there didn’t seem to be parking, it was always “full”. We parked 10 minutes walk away in the area where they hold Octoberfest. The attendants there are very nice.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, central location- just 15min walk to Marienplatz. Though Houptbahnhof region is quite noisy, but helpful personel, giving good advices regarding touristic places. Flexible hotel management, agreeable to late arrivals and late check-outs.

My husband and I stayed at the Relexa Hotel Munchen. Unfortunately, we were two unpleasant situations. The first morning the kindly Receptionist was showing on the computer screen how to get to a tourist place, as I requested, but the manager arrived and rudely started talking to me in German, when I spoke in English that I didn’t understand what she was speaking, she requested the attendant who told me that I couldn't see the computer and kept scolding the girl next to me me like I didn't have there! Nothing polite with a guest! But the most serious happened later. On the 6th morning I left my new wool scarf on one of the shelves in my room. When I returned to the hotel at night, the scarf disappeared. I immediately talked to the receptionist who was currently working and she explained to me that she could do nothing, just left a notice for the manager and the housekeeper to check as soon as they arrived at the hotel the next morning. The next day I warned that I needed to check out early, talked to the receptionist in the morning, he had already know of the case, but said that the responsible people were checking and didn’t have a return about my scarf, so they would send me an e- mail with the answer. I requested to speak with the manager, but she refused to talk to me. I don't know the name of any employee, because contrary to any good customer service, all employees informed me that they are not allowed to say their names. I don’t recommend the hotel Relexa Munchen to anyone they don’t have respect for guests!

This hotel is about a 5 minute walk (with luggage) south of the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The room were clean and modern, and a bit larger than we expected given that it is something of traveler's hotel near the station. The staff were able to hold our bags in a secure room, since we arrived before check in time, and took our bags up when the room was ready (we were out at the time). As a piece of advice, if coming from the train station, consider using the Paul Heyse Strasse exit from the station - you'll walk all the way along platform 11 until you see a modest exit with an escalator down to street level - it will save you from backtracking that you would have to do by using the main southern exit.

The location of the hotel was great – near the main train station and walkable to the Altstadt. However, the beds, and especially the pillows, were extremely uncomfortable/hard. I hardly slept. Also the bathroom was not very private as there was only a partial glass door between the toilet and the rest of the room. If you're traveling with a roommate, they can hear everything on the other side of the room! The staff wasn't very friendly at the front desk. When we tried to check in, the man at the desk pretended like he didn't understand what we were trying to do. So another employee at the desk helped us no problem. And the "free" wi-fi barely worked during our stay. It was spotty at best.

I went to Munich for a quick business trip having tried a couple of other hotels before and not having been pleased. This one is great. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that but my room was lovely (it was one of the superior rooms). It was enormous and the bathroom was beautifully fitted out. There was foot cream in a little sachet on the pillow which I thought was a nice touch (especially when you arrive at gone midnight and are very tired)!! The only complaint I have is that the towels are thin and feel cheap which is a shame when the rest of the room is so beautiful. The same comment goes for the loo roll. Easy things to fix though...
