We had a weekend break in Munich to visit the Christmas markets, and were not disapointed with our choice of hotel. Being right by the Osthofbahn it is easy to find and just 30 minutes from the airport. The local area has a nice feel, with plenty of local bars and restaurants. To get to Munich city centre is 5...

My initial reaction when we arrived at this hotel was, oh I made a mistake. I hadn't, it was just not quite what I had expected. The location is about a half hour walk from Marienplatz, which we don't mind. The first time we walked in we took the main streets, which weren't great (as in boring) Afterward we wandered...

Had a 4 night stay in Munich in between bicycle trips. Location next to the Ostbahnhof makes it ideal for vacationers or business. Just the right size boutique hotel. We visited most of the sites of Munich by utilizing public transport that is literally across the street. Get a 3 day pass and you're all set. Shopping and restaurants are...

This hotel is absolutely a good one. But our room, 216, had nothing to do with design. It was old fashion with wallpaper from the 70's. It did not bother us. They were renovating the rooms opposite of ours, which gave a lot of noise during the day. Most of the time we were away, so that was not a...

Dear FORZA7777, thank you very much for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to write a review. Your room 216 (one of only 3 left in the hotel) is a so called CHARME ROOM, which we keep deliberatly in the style of the 1970s. These are entirely different rooms then the rest of the hotel - and we...

We stayed here for two nights during out stay on munich. The hotel is located across the street from munchen ost train station, so if you want to be central in the city and close to the new hip places to eat and see, stay closer to the city. The hotel is nice although not brand new. There was a...

Dear Burak T, thank you very much for your comment and your nice words. We are very sorry, that you were disturbed during your stay by this strange noise. In the meantime we found the source of the problem and solved it. It wasn't someone on the fire escape. No, the sound came from the elevator. It was a minor...

I loved everything about this hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights. Very nice and spacius room. Very clean. I loved that you could get mineral water, soda and snacks for free in the reception. The breakfast was also very good. I did not miss anything. I also liked the location. You had the metro, tram and bus right outside. Very...

Old hotel with new touches. Right by Ostbanhof with excellent transport (U+S-bahn) links and an interesting area in its own right. Very friendly and helpful staff. No AC but nice touch to offer vouchers for free ice cream, also offered free fruit and soft drinks. Good breakfast. Tasteful decor.

We stayed here two nights at the end of August. I believe we stayed in Room 301. It had a nice view of the courtyard and a big bathroom with shower. The reception was very welcoming at all hours of the day/night. The breakfast was good (typical European breakfast) but had plenty of selection (even eggs, both hard boiled and...

We stayed in Room 504 on the 5th floor in August 2016 for two nights prior to starting a walking tour out of Munich. We found the hotel modern, clean and convenient to public transport. Our room was largish by European standards with a desk, extra sofa, arm chair, as well as 2 King single beds, a wardrobe with a...

The hotel offered a relief after a day of exploring all the sights in the busy, crowded areas of the centre. The hotel is immaculate, spotless clean, with beautiful modern decor. Housekeeping is top class (they seem to anticipate your need and work to meet that). The reception staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient (everything in the hotel seemed...
